Oh, I just love all these cast coincidences. Dervla Kirwan as Casanova's mother in Casanova, with Tennant, and also Miss Hartigan, in Doctor Who, and now David Morrissey as Ripley in Blackpool and Jackson Lake in Doctor Who. And Tennant in the middle, of course. Being a DW fan, I love seeing characters acting together in other completely different shows.

Blackpool is a bit of a-bizarre (for lack of a better word)-detective musical (leave it to England to come up with the weirdest TV drama ideas). Not sure if David is a actually singing in it (he can sing as shown in Taking Over the Asylum, but his singing voice in that one is different) with some dancing (dancing REALLY not a strong point...).

Yeah,David Tennant & David Morissey have been in a few things together. I believe in the US it was billed as "Viva Blackpool" Generally its weird having them break into song during the course of the drama. It was great to see them together again in the Dickensian era for two doctors episode. Meadowlands was an interesting series that Morissey was in-like a witness protection relocation nightmare landscape for Stepford families!Interesting!
