Performance E36ers can start with a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. It can add up to 11HP for only about $150 and installs in 30-45 minutes - really a must for every E36 owner. It also makes the car HOWL at high end but sounds normal at everyday driving. See my videos!

oh so its the old one.. ok since u seem to know abt BMWs, do u know if 318is engines break down quickly or have a lot of problems?? coz i wanna buy a 318is but ive been told that they break down a lot??!!
OK better late than never.... The 318is had 2 different engines it had the M42B18 and the M44 B19... As far as the engines go if serviced as and when and head gasket changed every 80,000 miles you will never get a problem.... I have the M43B18 engine and its done 120,600 miles so far with no probs at all. Gasket will need a change at around 150,000 and cus its chain driven no need to worry about cam belts :d

1.8is is a very great engine and very resistent. a 318is in good shape would beat a 320i on drag

Uważam że silnik pracuje bardzo dobrze, jak nowy. Wzniesienie , szerokie opony też powodują opory a mimo to elastycznośc jest bardzo dobra.
