@IwataSpraya Check your date and time in Settings. This will only work if the time and date are set to the current time and date. If you are still having issues try a different SD card.

@newjazz11 Yes, this is normal. The HBC is only a launcher for software applications. Go to wiibrew.org to find games and emulators etc and download them onto your SD card.

@MrCheaddabomb You need to run steps 2 and 3. The update from Just Dance may have overwritten the cIOS that WiiFlow was using. Step 2 will reinstall the cIOS and step 3 will make a backup of your Wii so you can restore if any thing ever goes awry.

@emokidd446 Wii remotes do not work in BootMii, use the POWER and RESET buttons on the front of the Wii to navigate. POWER = Next RESET = Select current item

@CustersBart You *should* be able to use SD cards less than 32 Gb, however the HackMii installer is very picky so if you encounter any issues try a different card if possible. I also use an SDHC card on my Wii with no issues. (SDHC cards are over 2Gb but less than 32 Gb)

@225monsterman 1 Gb is the minimum size that I know will work for sure. This is because the BootMii backup in step 3 takes up about 521 Mb. You can however install the Homebrew channel with the 64Mb card.

@insanebrainnoname If you do not see LetterBomb it is likely that your Wii's date and time are not set correctly. Set the date and time from the Wii settings, then try again. If it still does not work try a different SD card, not all SD cards are compatible with LetterBomb. LetterBomb is exclusively for 4.3 Wiis.

I hacked it and installed software and it works. I installed a media player call WiiMC which plays music, YouTube, reads images, mp3s, and plays DVDs. I also installed WiiRadio which is a Wii ShoutCast internet radio. Works without a flaw.

@Muqea Check that your time and date are correct, if they are not right this will not work. To fix the date and time go into Wii Settings and find Calendar.

@narcolepticchairftw LetterBomb ONLY works for 4.3 Wiis of any region. If your Wii is 3.0-4.2 you could use BannerBomb. Send me a message if you would like the files for BannerBomb, and what system menu you have.

However I would just update to 4.3 as there are significant improvements and backup games can now load with USB 2.0 and the Wii is generally faster and would have acces to the Wii Shop Channel.

Those steps will install the cIOS that backup games need to run as well as a backup launcher. To be continued......

@SuperMario64N64 .....continued. If your Wii was modded before when you upgraded to 4.3 it removed all you old cIOS that were used for your backups.

If I were you I would update back to 4.3 and then finish steps 2 and 3, then you will be playing backups and won't have a bricked Wii.

@SuperMario64N64 If your Wii came with 4.2 it is likely that it has a newer drive chip that can NOT load any burned discs even with a mod chip. Your only option is USB loading, which is way faster once you set up your external hard drive. Don't format your Wii, it will just remove homebrew and all your save files. Could you download SystemCheck GX from the Homebrew browser and run it then email me the CVS file it makes. This will let me see what has happend to the internal software of the wii.

@SuperMario64N64 If you update your Wii with the official updater (the one in the Wii settings) it will NOT brick, also it will take you directly from 4.1 to 4.3. Your Wii and most other manufactured after Q4 of 2008 can only read backups from USB. 4.3 is faster at USB loading as it has USB 2.0 while all older menu versions only have 1.1. After running the update to 4.3 you will have to redo steps 2 and 3.

@SuperMario64N64 You would have to change the entire drive. It's not that hard to do, I managed to change a dead laser in around an hour. So removing the drive and putting in an older one should only take like 25 min. I PM'ed you an Amazon link for a replacement drive, but be sure to shop around ($60). I would however just buy a compatible USB drive as it's cheaper. I personally find that the Seagate Extension Portable drives to be very good and a great value.

@theterror117 You mean at 4:15? If it freezes right after you launch LetterBomb then it can not load the boot.elf for the HackMii installer. Try re-downloading the LetterBomb exploit and make sure boot.elf is on the root of your SD card.

@Yommankey The exploit only works from an SD card, all Wii exploits require an SD card as the Wii does not read data from USB drives without homebrew.
