The 9/11 report states why Bin Ladin attacked us: because we had military bases in Saudi Arabia. The longer we impose ourselves in the middle east, the more terrorist groups that will come into being. Peace is promoted with peace, not war. Do people actually believe that we were attacked because they are jealous of our wealth? If we were non-interventionist, we never would have been attacked.

This is why I am trying to get you to understand the full extent of the history beyond the past few decades. Western countries have been killing, bombing, overthrowing, and occupying the various countries of the middle east for the past few HUNDRED years. This is history, not liberal talking points. So based on your logic, it is perfectly reasonable for them to attack us then? No, of course not. War and killing is the last resort of desperate despots. There is not honor in it.
