  • I find it quite funny how he looks the same compared to this, witch was probably 20 years ago

  • How refreshing it is to hear the verse of this song. MARVELOUS!!!!

  • What a voice!

  • Tony should sing this with Jackie Evancho!

  • I hope that one day I'm half as skilled at anything as Tony Bennett is at singing

  • He's singing at Leeds Castle which is in Kent...

  • Nice version!

  • My only complaint is that the song had to end. :) Nice of him to pay tribute to Judy Garland.

  • They broke the mold when they made Tony. 'doesn't get any more ...toney ...nor better. every. anywhere. nohow.

  • i love you, Tony!!!!

  • There is only ONE TONY BENNETT and he is still as great as ever!

  • His toupee looks like it's still only about 20! Seriously, though, what I always loved about Tony is he always looks like he's having a damn good time up there singing.

  • he is the best.his voice his smile.everything...

    LOVE FROM GREECE. <3

  • Class act. He shows you don't have to sing at the top of your lungs to put over this song.

  • Simplismente Tony...

  • Cute old man. His voice is just as charming now as it was fifty years ago.

  • Yes! And it is very sad...So we must say "LONG LIVE TONY BENNETT!"

  • from a judy garland fanatics point of view....this was marvelous!

  • Ooh - I was there in the audience! This was my birthday outing! Diana Krall was the support act.

  • I was within 5 feet of that windowpane!

  • I hope I can look that good when I reach my 80's.

  • @The4Horsemen7Angels I hope I can sing that good when I reach my 80's

  • @The4Horsemen7Angels fuck yea, this man looks fantastic for 80

  • @The4Horsemen7Angels exactly, if we live that long.

  • I appreciate Tony Bennett, and this version...but Louis Prima has a PHENOMENAL version that swings!

  • Another Tiffany job done by Mr. Bennett!!

  • Tony Bennet is the singers singer. His phrasing, timing and love reveals all the composer had in mind and more. The Baldchemist

  • thats an asshole thing to say, evidentely u dont enjoy these wonderful clips as much as the rest of us do. as francis albert would say "scram bum, who needs ya?" GET LOST

  • well said! :D but he is good also, but not as good as Frank!

  • You cretin!

  • Dear retard, a.k.a. NoCompromise83 --

I merely noted that a viewer's comment was an actual quote by Sinatra about Bennett. Sinatra's praise deserves to be remembered: He described Bennett as "a singer's singer."

Now, please, go back to listening to Britney Spears or whatever crap you enjoy, and leave the rest of us to enjoy Bennett's wonderful talents.

    Thank you.

  • Yeah your totally right dude and sinatra was always very nice to fellow singers he kept dean and sammy close like brothers Who do you think is a better singer bennett or sinatra ?

  • Tony!

  • alright i respect your opinion i will not argue but still i think sinatra gives more emotion and rythm without a orchestra he does not need that but anyways i like tony bennett too and i like his tribute to sinatra he has a very unique voice that only some people used to have those days tony is awesome !

  • I'd agree that perhaps SInatra showed more emotion when he was much younger, but IMHO he later developed this fake 'tough-guy' image as his voice began to fail (in the late 1970's), so that he completely depended on orchestrations to hide the weakness in his vocal abilities, yet here's Bennett at age 78, sounding like someone in his 50's, still hitting those high, high notes.

  • well said! I agree with you! Tony is a gem!

  • very beautiful! I love Tony!!

  • Tony!!! Jesteś wielki!!!

  • Amazing...whats a 80 yrs old man can do....

  • This is the first time that I have heard the introductory verses of this song.

  • He have a great voice and sing beautifull musics XD

  • His studio version of this really swings. Check it out on the album, "Here's to the Ladies."

  • he looks like count dracula of sesame street.. Ü.. great voice.

  • saw him at Glastonbury Festival--he melted the crowd and some were only teens--wonderful

  • He's not only a great singer, but a good painter also.

  • Amazingly beautiful arrangement.

  • The unusual tempo gets your attention, then he proceeds to put the Bennet stamp on it. Great singer, and nice of him to give credit to the person who introduced it.

  • He has true class and is so highly respected!!! I love him.

  • i hope tony bennett lives forever.......

  • Tony Bennett... 'Nuff said...

  • damn that man sings effortlessly cool

  • I vowed that one day I would see Tony Bennett live on stage. Last sunday night in London that vow was realised. Each song was delivered with true artistry. He conducted the audience as if they where a collective musical instrument designed to produce applause and affection in equal measure. The songs were as ageless as love, and therefore, so is he. He is, in short, a master of his craft with a deep and good soul. God bless him.

  • Beautiful-written appreciation of the singer, cawleym1. Thanks.

  • I prefer the Graham Chapman version.

  • This is some 'classy' pop music. We need some of it thesedays.

  • Tony and Frank are the best singer ever

  • and I believe that TONY is now pulling ahead by a hair!

  • Eric Clapton does a great version of this song on his 1

more car 1 more rider album. It just completly blew me away. He takes to another level. Just amazing

  • Oh, it's Leeds Castle, not Leeds! I nearly jumped off a cliff, thinking he'd been to Leeds and I'd missed him!!!

  • who is the original singer to this song?

  • It was was sung in the movie The Wizard of Oz, 1939. Now, the most famous version is by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a hawaian artist who died in 1997.

  • I seriously doubt Israel's version is the most famous... heh! Judy's "Over the Rainbow" was voted the song of the century... and who in the world hasn't heard her sing it?

  • Judy Garland sang it in the movie. Tony Bennet says her name at end of the song.

He's still singing at 80, and he makes it seem so easy.

  • I was 15 when this happened and followed all the stereotyped music styles, now though i'm 17, I wish he would come back to Leeds. Anyone know which part of Leeds this was? Was it Temple Newsam?

  • I wonder why just about every singer skips the lyrics up to where it says ...just a place beyond the raibowalmost all skip that and start with ...sommewhere over the rainbow... beautidul nevertheless all of them.

  • he's a great singer, you got a give him that

  • why do you said that mebest777?

  • Beautiful

  • bad ass mafia
