  • does it come with free songs? I heard that there is only like 35 free songs and then you have to pay. is this true?!

  • ive had this since it first came out and it took so much abuse, i have literally thrown it and it always worked until it was accidentally put into the washing machine. they need to make more products like this, and always should have a equalizer on it to get that right sound. this is a great product and reccommend it to many many people.

  • if I buy the 2 GB and can I add more GB?

  • @madaobro there is a micro sd card and can store much much more

  • @madaobro yes, up to 8gb..idk if 16gb 32gb and 64gb micro sd is compatible with it

  • @47crazed thx bro :)

  • any one what the music video is called that came stock with the sansa fuze?

  • Is there a built in speakers?

  • @tretey sadly, no there is not.

  • This MP3 player is a Piece of Junk it Actually Doesn't last long it's vunerable to Scratches and Abrasions and Seems to not have enough Durability

  • I opened my fuze to see the inside (i got it for free so i'm not too anal about it) I was able to put it back together because the wheel is attached to the top panel via screws, and the wheel is connected to the circuit board by a detachable (good thinking sansa) flat copper wire thingy. I had to use tweezers to put the copper wire back into the port, because if you don't put it back all the way, the wheel won't respond well.

phew, and that was what I did one day when I was bored :P

  • i allready have a sansa! so im pretty lucky! : )

  • this is the third worst device ive owned, the second was Zune 120 and the first is an ipod nano that crashed on me after two days.

  • i gave back my ipod touch the 4gb one and i preffer this one even if its not touch screen but its a lot cheaper and has the same things except for internet and that map junk but it doesnt even work if there is no internet (wifi) connection and i have dsl so it didn't do any thing 4 me but an mp3 player is mainly for MUSIC.

  • oh lol i have that except for my is red and it is really goooooood!!!!!!!!!!

  • does it have an inner speaker or not?

does it have a small Portable Speaker System i can buy with?

i really need an answer, its a deal breaker for me

  • @shirrasta It doesn't have an inner speaker, but you can buy a small portable speaker system on Amazon. And FYI, there is a newer version called the Sansa Fuze+, which supports more audio and video formats.

  • @shirrasta

If you already have a home stereo then chances are you only need an auxiliary cable. Just connect the mp3 player to the (AUX) or (Line-in) on your stereo and then the other side to your mp3 player. Play it and change your stereos channel to (AUX).

Docks are just another way for companies to make money off a cheap product.

  • Did he say the highest memory card that can go in it is 8GB o.O

  • i wished they changed from a glossy design to matte instad

  • I love SanDisk. I've had so many MP3 players and flash drives corrupt files on me, but SanDisk NEVER gave me that problem. Ant it is durable as hell, too. I dropped my Sansa on cement, expecting a cracked LCD I picked it up and found only a nick on the corner. It still works fine. My MP3 is a Sansa, my flash drive is a Cruzer, and I will never buy another flash product unless it is SanDisk.

  • ipods are overrated. this is worth the money. even though it has a ipod appearance, besides that, i prefer this over the ipod anyday, great price, worth the money, underated.

  • I don't understand...

what's the prejudice against an Ipod?

I think they're just ok, but too expensive.

    they don't worth the shit.

  • is this worth getting, does it have any problems. please reply

  • can u use thiswith itunes?

  • I reckon when you plug this into your mac, a trail of fire appears

  • ipod has the worst sound quality ever.....shitpod

  • if i dont put the cd in my cpu can i still add music?

  • I have the black 4gb

  • Could someone please help me. Just bought the sansa fuze 4 GB but it's awfully quiet. The salesperson said that there is an option in the settings to make it louder but neither I nor she could find it. The site's not helpful either, so anything you could tell me would be of great assistance.

  • @Thelastcommie Go to Settings, then System settings, then Volume, and select High. I don't know if it changes anything though.

  • @Thelastcommie Or try to set the equalizer :D

  • @Thelastcommie maybe you just listen to your music really loud?

  • @Thelastcommie While playing a song, simply rotate the circular button, and it will change the volume of the song.

  • @Thelastcommie Okay, first you would want to go to Settings then go to Volume settings. Select High. You see the Volume Bar was lowered to match the volume when you were listening to your song. Set that up high. If that's not good enough, go to Music Settings, and go to Music EQ. Go to Custom, and set everything to the highest setting. NOTE: It WILL save. There, now you can go deaf.

    Sorry for the late reply.

  • Can usb cord for this also charge sansa e200 series players?

  • people who criticize the product of breaking easily our idiots. Its called Taking care of your product. The headphones suck from sansa. I suggest using JVC marshmellow ear head phones. Or if you like noise canceling headphones then upgrade.

  • The only thing I don't like about the Fuze is the spinning wheel....it feels cheap and if enough dust gets under that compartment.....you'll have a stuck wheel.

  • where can i buy one plz message me!!!

  • @rollokapono369 @ Best Buy, Target, Radioshack, or Wal-Mart...

  • Sansa Fuze better, or Sansa View?

  • does this get loud?

  • my box was different. i have the 4gb one.

  • ufkumum8

  • i have the 4g one

  • i LOVE how the control wheel has that blue light...it looks cool in the dark!

  • @stefanamzic

    i know right!

  • does it have speakers?

  • I believe that there is no sansa come with built-in speaker so far.

If you want something with acceptable speaker (+ large touch screen), I recommend the Mach Speed Trio 8gb or 16gb. It comes with a sd card slot too. I tried that one. Very nice & only $80-$100 =)

If you want more... like internet and apps... then iPod Touch all the way, but it's $100 higher and no sd slot =)

  • can someone plz tell me how to get vidoes on this thing

  • if you want videos on it, you need Sansa Media Converter and another converter to help the quality. I recommend Any Video Converter (AVC) (Free version).

First, convert the video with AVC, resize the video to 320x240 & 768kbps. After that convert the output file with Sansa Media Converter.

This way you can have the best quality video on the Sansa.

  • @hurrycanger why do i need a Sansa Media Converter

  • @lovaleey I believe that Sansa Media Converter is a must-used program to convert videos to any version of sansa, except for the Sansa View.

You don't have to use Any Video Converter before that but if you do, the quality would be much better. =)

  • why so it can die once the warranty expires in 1-2 years and spend 200 on another one when u can just spend 50 - 80 on this with the same capabilities and your own memory space and avi video (which is better)...I have one and it's a lot better than my ipod. Apple is a bunch of thieves.

  • ipods are terrible

  • you gotta admit iphone or itouch blows this out of the water regardless of price and pay for songs

  • Thanks for getting back to me on that I new about the converter but did NOT now that i could do that.

  • @wrongoggy you're an idiot. ipods are disgrace to music.

  • @gideonMorrison LOL ipods were the first mp3 player ever to hold a thousand music in one device with out the ipod to beat you wouldent have your competitive mp3 players trust me... so leave it to the ipod

  • @PabloBobadillaLopez

    wrong... sony was the first...

  • @samjs721 you kidding me 2001 was all about cd players sony dident have shit back than

  • @PabloBobadillaLopez

what? they didnt? yeah right. what about the DSJ301 sports model? DNE511? DNE241? DEJ011S? i i had all of these and to this day they still work..... they have always had the best music players with quality sound. the only thing i give ipod is the capacity they have. but the sony x series has catched up to that...

  • @samjs721 WHAT!! nuh uh?

  • @PabloBobadillaLopez

so basically ipods are gay. they have an ugly design.

  • @samjs721 they have the best design. 9/11 is my favorite holiday

  • @PabloBobadillaLopez

    lol wtf?

  • @PabloBobadillaLopez Ya the design is unique and you need another favorite holiday.

  • @gideonMorrison highest possible is 32GB so no worries :-D

  • @gideonMorrison as much sense as that doesn't make i'm just going to carry on with the video

  • @gideonMorrison How is the ipod a "disgrace" to music, exactly? I prefer to use cheaper mp3 players, but people who like high quality sound or name brand crap like using the iPod, they're high quality mp3 players. Hipsters don't mind apple controlling their lives, so you can't say that the iPod is a disgrace to music when in fact it's the most popular mp3 player out there with a HUMONGOUS music store and a good (for some people) music syncing program.

  • @NageekNoohac You sir, have a lot to learn still. Ipods sound horrible in comparison to for example a 'simple' sansa fuze. They are overpriced, overhyped and the hardware is anything but good. I happen to know a lot about DAPs and hi-fi, so I know what I'm talking about. You might want to study the subject some more.

  • do you have to charge it before first use

  • just plug it to computer to charge and see if it has full battery or not =D

Sometime the product doesn't come full charge even though it's supposed to.

  • but is the point of charging it before first use to fill up the battery? cause with other mp3's theres a paper that says charge for 6 hours before first use but it didnt come with fuze

  • Yeh basically it's to fill up the battery.

The first charging is the most important, so it's better just do it =D.

Charging fully before using and drain out the battery before next charge is important to maintain battery good condition. (As for drain out battery, don't do it always, but it's bad to have a habbit charging the device while battery is still more than 25%)

That's it. As far as I know. =)

  • so i just charge it for like 6 hours?

  • Yeh just charge it for like 6 hours, that's fine :) Tips / Fact of charging :

The yellow Lighting icon (on the Fuze's screen) is shown while the device is charging.

If it disappears while still plugged in, that means it's fully charged. When it's fully charge, it's good to go. No extra time charging required.

  • @hurrycanger what's the best way to increase batterylife on the sansa fuze

  • guess there is no way to increase battery life, but I believe we can keep the battery in good condition by not charging it more than twice a day XD.

Seriously, charging too many times will kill the battery. It's good to charge it only when the battery is lower than 20%.

If you really need to charge the device when it's 20-50%, it's still okay as long as you don't make it a habit.

  • @hurrycanger Not true at all. This like most of the Mp3 players use a lithium ion battery, which requires no special maintence.

  • oh, I forgot.

You better give the device a full charge before you unplug it =D

It will also help the battery.

  • to help a little bit, got to settings, video options, and then turn the brightness down, so when you actually use it, it will use less power

  • It is recommended and necessary to charge the device before use to ensure full battery life.

  • my brother and sister got the 4gb version for christmas

  • I have a question... Does anyone know that the microsd card is integrated into the files in the sansa, or does it have a separated file in the sansa.

  • can i put songs on the sansa

cuz i got the smaller version

but i dont know if i can use itunes to put songs on it

    please reply fast

  • no you can use yahoo just go to the music section find one for mp3s then download it then make account and your good to go. Murkmumba

  • @Axxstrix : just drag and drop, or copy and past files into it.

Windows media player can sync music into the Sansa Fuze, too.

  • Does it have to use the mmry stick? or is it just for additional storage?

  • its for additional storage

  • do we HAVE to use a pc or mac to charge it or does it come with a wall socket charger?

  • just get a ds/dslite universal usb charger it comes with USB WALL CHARGER DUDE but umm i got it in a game stop in a mall.....................

  • Yes it does have that language built in and multiple other languages. I do have one and they are very good music players with EQ changer very good altho I can't get it to play any video format including MP4

  • go on Sansa's website and there is a file converter for the device

  • Does the Fuze include dutch language?

  • THe Nano is shit compared to this

  • Yeah, and now I feel stupid for getting a Nano on Black Friday.

  • I have the 4gig version! Its the best better than Ipod!

  • I had the 4gb, I want the 8gb. USB charging or buy the Charger. Very good for music, voice recording & fm radio!!! Feels really good in your hands too, and the wheel is great.

  • Is it good

  • so this is good, because i am thinking of buying it... but idk, i want to make sure i am getting the good stuff for my money.

  • how do you charge this thing?

  • @TazakaLOL lmaooo you use the usb cable to connect it to the computer.

  • yeye chill the fuck out man.

  • alright just helpin ya out you dumb dinkleberry. how fucking stupid do you feel your dumb-ass dont even know how to chare a mp3 player you stupid fuck face hang yourself.

  • well, not all MP3 players use USB charger.

  • no kidding thats why i told you how to do it no need to tell me to fuck off shithead.

  • i didnt tell you to fuck off i told you to chill. whatever...

  • can some 1 please help me

i have this player and i formated it and then i canceled the format and now every time i turn on or conect to computer it tells me "FAT is curappted please conect device to PC and recover FAT" whats FAT and how do i recover it plz helpp

    thnx

  • refund it

  • in my opinion, it doesnt matter the amount of GB. it doesnt make it ore advanced, it just means it holds more songs. it dont matter.

  • Sansa gets better and better each year. I was thinking about buying this, but i really want an apple itouch, does anyone know what sansa's next invention is? anyone know if they'll be coming out with a touch screen mp3?

  • heres a crazy idea........buy it!! i bought this mp3 a week ago and i love it. iTouchs piss alotof ppl off cause u gotta calibrate the touch screen, if ur in a car and its a bumpy ride, u probbably guess that its hard to get the song u want. the fuze is pretty much like the iPod nano exept cheaper. so yeah i would buy this if i were you. u wont regret it.

  • is the sound good? how do you charge it? does it break easily?

  • Should I buy the 8GB one ?

  • how much can u expand it to?

  • micro sd as big as you can find. ive actually found a 24 gig one before

  • mine works with microSH HC cards, too. Well, with 8GB cards.

  • as much as a micro-sd card will hold (i think up to 16 gb)

  • Yes the included headphones are good if youve got elbow sized ear holes.

  • how do u charge this can u use ipod charger

  • I really don't recommend it! I had one and a month after opening it the screen went white and would not play, i charged it and tried again, nothing worked, so my parents contacted Sansa and they agreed to send me another one, i sent my old one back that was five moths ago. i still haven't received either one back. or conformation that they will replace it. the customer service is appalling.

  • my computer wont recongnize my sansa clip unless i switch msc. but then it wont show my music. So how can I fix this?

  • Do you have to use the cd that comes with it. My computer cannot put thoose cd's. Or will my computer read the device

  • You do not need the programs from CD. And if you wat them, they are on the internet.

  • No,It's only content the Manual as a PDF in too much languages ^^

  • I love this thing.

  • It can play any movie in the world, it's not the movie it self that determines if this player can play or not knobs, its the movie format.

  • hi i am chesco i have an mp4 dikom plyer i can put music on it can u help me 10q

  • how much does it cost cuz i have one tho black i wanted blue

  • Iv got the same model and color but mine is a 4gig!

  • I bought the 2GB version then got the 16GB SDHC for $15 on a sale.

Cheaper then the 8GB version and works just fine. You lose like 4 hours of battery life I think using SDHC cards.

No biggie since I only use it for 8 hours @ work.

  • can it play movies like "The Simpsons"

  • No it can only play movies like 'Terminator'.

  • But not Terminator 2, of course.

  • @leodee LMAO

  • @leodee XD that's lol-tastic!

  • It can play any movie... I have 4 movies on mine.

  • @MagnusTychsen lol it can play any movie.

  • itz fy i aint gon lie

  • can you charge it while on the car?

  • ok i need some help...i turned on my sansa fuze and saw it had deleted every song and every video but 1 so i went to put everything back on and saw it still read that everything was still on it...i only have 1.2 Gb left AND THERES NOTHING ON MY SANSA....can anyone help me? plz and thank you

  • just delete everything on it from windows and then see what it reads

  • i dont know much about sansa, but if it appears on my computer as a removable drive, format it and it should be ok :D

  • format it i'd say :|

  • ordered one of the 16gb ones as an upgrade for my old Creative Zen Touch which has started playing up (its lasted 5 years).

  • there is a 16gb sansa fuze?

  • Comment removed

  • @Miley: its the 8gb one but where i got it from gave me a free 8gb micro sd card with it making it 16gb space.

  • oo my bad I thought it had 16 gb internal memory :)

  • its probly cuz you dont know how to use it!

  • Can u use realplayer for dwnloadz

  • cant wait 2 get mine on friday, the 16gb one is £70 on play

  • Whats that in Ameriacn money?

  • depends, the 2 gig is like 50 the 4 gig is like 65 and the 8 gig is close to 90... i think...not sure tho...

  • 8 gb is 80

  • will it be able donw load music if you have windows xp

  • does it really come with a pouch because other unboxing videos dont show or say it comes with one.

  • yeah it comes with one. Dont worry.

  • i don't think it is mp4 for vids...I think it is avi

  • No actually it plays mostly every format possible, and it does play mp4, but i prefer to use avi for some reason cause i think it plays the video much better that way. I actually put the movie Hancock on it and i watched the whole thing on it. The quality was actually pretty good. Also, I have many other videos on it to.

  • Can't wait get mine on Wed.

  • hi

do you have freezing problems with your sansa fuze?

  • no,great works fine love it!!!

  • That problem is actually kind of fixed now because of the new firmware update. Mine hasn't been freezing at all. Also, if ure sandisk sansa fuze does freeze then just hold the power button until the unit shuts off.

  • yea usally when i have alot of music on it and when i un plug it frome the cpu

  • y not get frostwire? i deleted limewire longggggg time ago:D

  • Hahaha! Limewire does NOTHING?

    It's virus-tastic!

Trust me, if you want viruses, download Limewire. You'll get them.

I recommend torrents for all your illegal music/video downloading needs.

  • Got to agree, LimeWire is shit for viruses... Another funny thing is that by default it shares you "My Documents" folder with the world as soon as you install it, better hope to God you don't have any sensitive data.

I would recommend Vuze to anyone looking for a torrent application, has a built in browser so you can search for torrents. I'm sure there are many more great ones out there, just search till you find one that suits your needs...

Over all else, stay away from LimeWire.

  • agree with dude, limewire is bullshit and is for the mainstreamers who are too lazy to figure out torrents. torrents is by far the best way to do it.

  • I have It. It is 4gb and i m not able to convert movies as it takes long time and my sansa gets hot like xbox 360. i m not able to convert without connecting it. Help me!!!! If u know the answer PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have a 4gb one too!

    What generation do you have?

You can download "Limewire" witch dosent do absolutly NOTHING (like slow down ur comp. or nothing) to ur computer!

From Limewire you can download any videos for FREE and drop and drag from there to ur Windows Media Player and from there synce them from there...

Messege me or comment if you have any other questions :)

  • Thanks a lot!!!!!!!

I will try it now. I didn't understood the generation thing. are u asking for version
