The real number is around 18% of those unemployed and no longer receiving benefits and those that are. You need to look further than you tube and sound bites on the news. Taking out parts of Obama's speech and twisting them into meaning other things is something that all should despise even if you don't like Obama. Thanks to liberal policy the world economy is crashing. We must do two things to stop the meltdown NOW!!! Firstly, we need to raise all payroll taxes 10% for one year. We also need to stop (right now) wasteful handout programs like medicare, social security, unemployment,, etc. and lower the minimum wage to $2/hr so we can compete with China. I will work with Romney, Ryan and my other republican colleagues and take immediate action on these proposals. God bless the GOP!

Even if the feds created 10 million new jobs @ $10/hour each, that will cost about $1 BILLION a day in direct payroll alone- $20 Billion a month this month, next and EVERY month long term.
