  • have it on the uprising vinyl :)

  • The streets (Mike) is the one singing not Matt lol.

  • This is strange at 2x Speed, especially the bridge (between second chorus and third chorus)

  • I like Muse version of the Heartbreaker riff

  • British Rage Against The Machine.

  • This is so weird. Matt: what are you on?

  • it would be better if Dom sang the song :D

  • XY Pad ftw

  • Holy crap, I can't believe there isn't hordes of people complaining that they stole the riff from Heartbreaker! I mean, I am a die hard Muse fan, but it's Led Zepplin man! They're the lords of rock!! Lol, I mean they're like the Muse of the 70's!! :)

  • @MarkAFerguson There not like the Muse of the 70's you fuckin moron lol there TOTALLY different..........

  • @VimyMusic

Whoa whoa! Cool your jets buddy! I'm not stupid enough to believe that Muse and Zep are stylistically the same, or even sound the same! I'm only saying that they fill the same role as gods of a generation. You just cant deny the genius of either band and this makes them similar...

    geeez.... fuckin moron lol

    ;)

  • @MarkAFerguson Actually Zepplin wasn't considered gods in their generation, they are now, but not back then dumb ass :)

And muse isn't even that popular sadly, so again "fuckin moron lol" :)

  • @VimyMusic

Lol, I didn't mean that EVERYONE loved Zep or even Muse, but that they are/were worshiped like gods by their fans. Not many bands ever reach that sort of cult status. Don't believe me? Zep named "Houses of the Holy" after the nickname was used by their fans to describe their concerts. And just try to dis Matt Bellemy on any Muse video, Muse fans are fanatical! :P

Oh, and for the record, "fuckin moron lol" :D

  • NEED RATM TO REDO THIS

  • @dinuccij SO TRUE

  • ... first i though..."wtf :c maybe this the first music i dont like from muse..." some minutes later "wtf, this cool to hear ^^ i like this!" just because that chorus, i love this music :O super awesome badass riff on chorus ;)

  • Although muse are the best band ever, if they want a rapper get zack de la rocha not this guy...

  • Am I the only one who see a huge similarity (instrumentaly) with the song "heartbreaker" by Led Zepps? (I searched and : apparently no --")

    It still awesome.. But weird

  • 63 people are tossers and geezers.

  • Skinner.Muse. I love it.

  • Um, for those non-musers out there, the singer in this song isn't Matt Bellamy. geez. It's Mike Skinner.

  • Comment removed

  • This song gave me a boner.

    And I'm a girl.

  • @NissiNuNudle lool xD...nice one xD

  • @NissiNuNudle

well this is why Muse is fantastic, they can do impossible :P

  • Anyone else noticed the strange amount of alliteration in this song? Or have I just revised too much English? D:

  • I think some people honestly don't get the point in this. It is meant to be a british version of a ratm style track. Who better than the most influential british rapper to do that?

  • damn good riff.

  • this is the only muse song i dont like..... :( an instrumental would be cool though!!

  • The Streets are playing on the NME stage before Muse on the Main Stage at Reading this year ... are you thinking what I'm thinking??

  • Do I hear Manson MB 1?

  • Sounds like dom...

  • @Yendor95 its THE STREETS singer, Mike Skinner...:D

  • Music ... 100% Muse :)

    Lyrics ... 100% shit :/

  • @xxxStarlightSimonexx I agree with you!! we don't even hear Matthew Bellamy... but the music is awesome!!

  • @cloclodu57 It's Muse ft The Streets... You don't understand the fondement of the song; Matt wanted to collaborate with Skinner to do something like RATM. It's somehow normal to hear Skiner instead of Matt.

    Do you understand ?

  • muse is awesome but these lyrics are fucking shit. ratm would do a much better job.

  • @PwoperCitizen Mike Skinner wrote the lyrics, Bellamy composed the music.

  • This surely must have been a random jam session one day, but they thought they'd record it properly haha ... Becuase it sounds very similar to heartbreaker by zeppelin

  • I love Muse and I like The Streets, so this song is just ... erotic!

  • i got to say im in love with this

  • The instrumental is fucking awesome!

But is hard for a song to be awesome as a whole, when the vocals are brutaly raping it in the aaass

  • i like this but they could of picked a better singer ? oh well if muse are in it its awesome :D

  • I'm not sure if I like this or not. I haven't decided yet.

  • this guitar riff is just awesome

  • this guitar riff é just awesome

  • And yet, my favorite riff is the really short one at 2:30. XD

  • Am I the only one thinking that Mike Skinner suits the mushy rock by Muse perfectly?

  • This sounds like Muse's idea of what RATM covering Heartbreaker would sound like :L

I know Muse have a heavy RATM influence but this sounds more like RATM than Muse... Weird

  • I knew it! Muse ARE capable to do something with a different sound from their never-changing shit...they just have to copy someone else! HELL YEAH!

  • @RhymeByRhyme never changing?...obvious troll

  • wow first muse song i havent liked... and i feel like im blaspheming saying this :L

  • If this was an instrumental, it'd be absolutely amazing, and this is good, but I just don't particularly like the vocal. I just don't like people rapping or talking throughout what would be a fantastic song.

  • This song would be insanely better without the guy rapping!! He's ruining the muse!!!

  • @bpost137 but he MUST rapping, cause this song sounds completely like RATM.

  • this would be awesome right after map of the problematique... Hmm.....

  • @Mudstep5956 Glastonbury, anyone?

  • I love how Matt's just going nuts in the background while some dude tries to rap.

  • God that riff is epic

  • Sounds just like Rage haha! If the bass was distorted it would be exactly like RATM, this would be great with Zach rapping and that guy from the Streets gone lol

  • Sounds just like Rage haha! If the bass was distorted it would be exactly like RATM, this would be great with Zach rapping and that fucker Shaun gone

  • The chorus is badass!

  • whys everyone hating on skinner? atleast he wrote his part

  • What's wrong with you people? This is an awesome tune.

  • What's wrong with you people? This is an awesome tune.

  • Haha I keep laughing at this guy's singing at the beginning. He just sounds so half-assed :P

  • I think it's awesome. Matt is just freaking on his guitar! haha

  • Muse + A Chav = Fail

  • Mike skinner makes this song. Muse is great but with Mike it makes the song a whole. Muse and The Streets FTW!

  • kaoss pad ftw

  • Yay for white guy british rap? Yeah, no. I didn't think so.

  • WTF???????!!!!!

  • Interesting. A lot of people are drawing comparisons to RAtM, but they seem to be neglecting the Zeppelin influence. The guitar work is basically the "Heartbreaker" riff fed through Tom Morello-styled distortion. Anyway, the song would be much more awesome without vocals, or even better if the vocal's were Matt's.

  • @TheLogicalEmotion i love you

  • @TheLogicalEmotion TOTALLY agree. And the instrumental would be so powerful!

  • I really want a total instrumental, Muse is great in this song, but the rapper guy sucks. He's not even rapping that well. Just ruining a good song.

  • This is similar to some of Rage Against the Machine.

    Particurlalry bass line.

    I like this song. ;)

  • thats the muse i remember (minus vocals)

  • Instrumental. Now.

  • Please, somebody could make this song acoustic?Without the voice of The Streets? I just wanna hear Muse!!

  • It's sad, but it's true... u_u

I mean, Muse are awesome and the riff are COOL, but The Streets SUCKS!

  • the streets is not a band im gonna listen to cuz they cant even rap correctly lol

    but Muse rocks

  • I would really like to see a RATM-type song from Muse, cause this track really shows how inspired they are by the band.

  • rap music's fucking annoying. but the guitar riff is awesome though

  • the guitar riff is SOOOOO COOL!!! :-D

  • This would be so awesome without the guy who's rapping.

  • this is real its not fake you can find it as a B-side of the 7" vinyl of the single Uprising

  • I don't get all the streets hate here. I bet most of you haters haven't picked up Original Pirate Material - one of the best albums of the naughties, hell you probably haven't given the streets a good listen at all. Muse are clearly big fans of mike's work or they wouldn't have let him support them at wembly, or agreed to do this track with him.

    :/

  • @retrospectuk one of the members of muse was originally from the streets...... plus as if u wouldnt want to perform with the streets?

  • @bowers117 well no. thats not true. MOrgan isn't a memeber of muse. Hes just helps them out on stage.

  • I like the streets vocals on this, otherwise it would of just been heartbreaker. Dont get me wrong i love Muse and Led Zep.

  • This is what RATM would sound like if they where from Birmingham

  • @mediumphill amazing comment xD

  • Mike Skinner sounds like he's reading the lyrics from a sheet of paper as poetry!

  • my ears are bleeding, i really don't like this guy's voice. But the rest is good!

  • So modified Led Zep/RATM cover + shitty singing/lyrics delivery... Garbage... except for the backing music, of course. :D

  • tbh i reckon matt just wanted a chance to screw around on the guitar with effects

  • I actually really like this...is that wrong?

Haha you can hear Matt in the back yelling "head space"

  • @mirandalynnashley That's not Matt yelling "head space"... Just sounds like the same guy, Mike Skinner.

  • muse xD

I know this is muse ft the streets but it sounds more like RATM xD

I think the songs before "BH&R" are the best songs by muse

  • You guys realize that this song is just Heartbreaker by Led Zepplin in the key of E minor, right? I mean, I love it, but, just sayin'.

  • awesome music, shit vocals.

matt's vocals and lyrics would make this song epic, i mean i love the riff in the chorus... but sorry, Mike Skinner's voice is shit.

  • muse???esto no lo es... a quien le gustaria esto??

  • @IriMuse10

si es muse . es obvio que es la guitarra de matt bellamy y los mismos efectos locos que el usa y ademas the streets le abrieron el concierto a muse en HAARP

  • ha fuck all you guys that only like muse or the streets

they both are really good artists

this collaboration seems like a wannabe ratm song

    but this song is awesome

  • B-side to Muse's Uprising single.

  • NOOO muse needs to stay solo this is crap

  • @MageAtYou very funny man

  • @MageAtYou thats why the streets support muse :)

  • @MageAtYou HAHA good one.

  • guys guys the song is not intended to be a serious release, who gives a shit it FUCKIN ROCKS ANYWAY!!

  • i dont think the 12 year olds commenting on this video know that the streets music is actually good

you just need to think, that 'fit but dont you know it' song is paralell to the 'starlight' video in portraying the full extend of their talent

anyway stop taking this so cereal it was just for fun

    and its pretty ossum

  • oh please give me INSTRUMENTAL version.

  • Let us all continue disliking music out of principle. I don't like this song, purely because I dislike it, not because it has mike skinner and leo on it. I imagine that this song with Bellamy would sound pretty shit, mainly because he can't flow.

  • yes this is made by muse well atleast the riffs...you can go to their official website, and look for it on the uprising single :)

  • It sounds like the riff from Heartbreaker.

  • @ThatsWhatSheSaid0012

It is the riff from Heartbreaker. I assume that's because it's one of the best jamming riffs around.

  • @shadowlord1990 - well i't not exactly the same, but pretty freakin close. Muse has been using that riff as a jam between songs for years, and it's excellent.

  • NOOOOOOOOO its WRONG without muse

  • Sub Zack De La Rocha on vocals and you got a masterpiece.

  • indeed

  • the riff is totally muse, but not the vocals. this is an example of what muse would sound like without matt's vocals

  • British Rage Against the Machine

  • Isn´t this song a B-side in Uprising?

  • this is so interesting. i could never imagine The Streets singing to muse music.

  • I want an instrumental version of this. I don't like the vocals...

  • this is actually kinda cool...

  • Parts of it reminds me of Toy Story for some reason :3 hahaha (:

  • if muse did it themselves that song would be legendary. very RAGE like.

  • this reminds me of Rage, but just BETTER. lol

  • This song is sick!

The Streets + Muse = Great.

  • the riff sounds like heartbreaker by zeppelin

  • it is heartbreaker

  • isnt that plagirism lol?

  • Its a variation of it.

Listen closely you can hear the difference.

  • @MuseRock2009 Matt even admit he has "stolen" it, xD

  • it is unmastered

  • haha RATM should make a song together with muse would be awesome

  • @nichonr95

Muse are waaay to pretentious for RATM.

I like both muse and RATM, but I just can't see RATM's hardcore anti capitalism working with muse's pretentious almost-prog style.

I'm going to scour the internet for an instrumental of this song. The Riff and sound is awesome.

  • @squishy949 actually i dont agree. i think they would be awesome since musicans are musicans, you can always match eachother and muse really would be awesome with RATM , when you hear this song it should be really clear

  • @nichonr95 I do have to agree, this song with Zach De La Rocha would be absolutely awesome.

I wonder how Matt would get along with Tom Morello

  • @nichonr95 yeah, haha

  • @nichonr95 Muse, Ronald Jenkees and Hans Zimmer.

THAT would be the best colab on earth.

  • @chiffmonkey i dream of hans zimmer and muse!

  • kinda sound like We Don't Live There Anymore by Millionaire. but urm. worse. of course, the muse part of it was awesome.

  • no it's not fake... it's the b-side to the uprising vinyl

  • if it was just muse not the streets, it would be amazing. :/

  • @31stAndCo the streets make this track

  • Who is this imposter of a singer? I can imagine Matt singing, and this song being a whole lot better!

  • yeah so the lyrics suck, but tune him out and listen to this riffage! or doms amazing drumming!

  • it'd be awesome without those shit vocals.

  • great to hear muse bak to basics - jus guitars and noise!

  • @fazsound I laughed hard about your comment, made my day, xD

  • this is a good rage against the machine influenced song :) matt bellamy just loves them :)

  • hahaha they got a bit too used to playing the 'heartbreaker' riff...

  • I LOVE MUSE!

    But this song is just...

I mean, obviously they were just messing around in the recording studio...

    right?? RIGHT?????

  • The streets, Muse what were you thinking. I mean you 3 are legends but the Streets is the biggest pile of 'musical' bullshit in the 21st century

  • lol i know its supposed to be like rage against the machine style but to me it sorta sounds like matthew bellamy (guitarist/singer of muse) on crack playing for beck with a british accent.

    haha...so weird.

  • actually it's not a joke, and if you think it sounds like rage against the machine, you're right, it's exactly what they were trying to do

  • well... Muse is providing instrumental. so at least the music sounds good ;)

  • Lol this is joke :p

  • they had a few beers had a jam n a laugh wiv their mates this was the result,i love it :) why some people so serious lol

  • Its the b-side on the new single uprising

  • it's like a british Rage Against the Machine. i love it!

that riff is totally Zep's 'Heartbreaker' though.

  • not so bad

  • Great chorus

  • Money men mill about Monday morning

Another new nothing and never nearer

Assumed at the cost that it's currently costing

I dare don't dig any deeper down

I don't have the head space.

  • I love Muse but. this is shit !

  • I disagree. More Streets than muse.

  • lol interesting

  • Write a cool riff, ruin with lame white-boy rapping over it... must be nu-metal.

  • instrumentals are great. yeah, the rap, not so much.

  • sounds so MUCH like Rage against the Machine

with the hip hop weird sounds in the verse

then explosive riff in the chorus and a great break down

i want an instrumental cuz i just cant get into the lame rapping of mike

if they replaced him with zach from rage WOW then wede have an AMAZING TRACK !!!

    haha

but thats just wat i think

  • Yeah, Matt Bellamy and Tom Morello trade guitar techniques, it's true.

  • yeah theit still both great
