Color is not really thie first thing that stands out to me. Attractive is attractive. Black, white brown, whatever. Lol...Personality is also a huge factor. I personally have seen several very attractive and nice white men that I wouldn't mind dating. From my perspective, I don't see many white men who are interested in dating black women.

well it is starting to change more and more. If you want to date a black woman there are black women who are opened to dating outside of the race. Don't roll up talking Ebonics (it's pandering & insulting), don't nervously ask her if she's dated white guys before (shows lack of confidence), and don't assume that she loves hip hop or other "black" activities (shows you're overlooking her individuality). I think it depends on where you're from. I am a mixed black woman (from Hawai'i), born & raised & I just left (first time living off the island...and I leave in winter, oh joy) but wow, talk about CULTURAL SHOCK. I prefer White men! I am Black and I find White men to be better educated, they usually have careers, not just jobs, they are not angry and bitter, and they tend to be more gentlemanly. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, but I also prefer White men's looks and facial features to that of black men...I just find White men a lot better looking! That's my opinion, and its not going to change! I hope you find a wonderful Black woman to share your life!! Peace...

I am very opened-minded and believe that a good person has nothing to do with skin color.
I am attracted to white guys, but never been approached by one; if I kinda nudge at the fact that I'm interested in one then it's like "I only like you for a friend." I even gone as far as being told that if I was lighter complected it would be all good. (Go figure)
I feel if you're interested in someone, and approach them properly, you might be pleasantly surprised at the response.

Well, to answer your question, there are plenty of White men I have found extremely attractive.
My family always said that if I wasn't with my hubby-I'd have a White husband. I have dated a few different races, and quite a few have been White. I am married to a fellow Carrib, however, if I hadn't found him and instead fallen in love with a White man-so be it. I figure you love whom you love and if they just so happen to be different from you, well cool--that's just icing on the cake.

I would love to date any women really as long as a great personally and know who she is as an individual. I can actually know a lot of a lot of black women who think white guys or Mexican guys or even asian guys are really cute but are too scared to ask them out. Or... This is probably gunna sound weird because of the stereotype ( black women are loud they say whatever is on their mind.) but there pretty traditional, saying " I want a guy to ask ME out." or "I don't ask guys out."

I would like to ask the to comment to not speak o behalf on all of us as black women. One generalization I happen to be proud of is that as black women, we can stand up and speak up for ourselves. I happen to like white guys just as much as I do black ones. The fact that you're asking him to "stay away from us" only pokes at the bad blood in B/W relationships, and spoils the boys who could actually learn by watching a girl get treated respectfully by someone else.
