Man, after reading these comments, I feel embarrassed. Jeff Buckley has some of the best... and the worst fans in the world. First off, good on ya for covering one of his songs. I got kind of a Bob Dylan-esque feel from this. If you made a few modifications to the arrangement to make it sound more folksy, perhaps finger picking rather than strumming, I think it would sound even better. A radical shift in genres would probably suit your style better. Other than that, I liked it. Cheers, mate.

What I mean is an artist such as Buckley is that it can't be avoided they are so talented, to marvelous, to unique, to AMAZING that the highest spot is where they go. Most of the coverer's are very mediocre, no slam that's just the way it is!

Dude, I think youre on to something here. SLOW DOWN, your voice is well suited for Jeffs version but SLOW DOWN the song is something to be enjoyed not rushed through. Good attempt, lots of potential, but try again this isnt your best effort. Im sure of it.

Yes it was different from Jeff's version, but even Jeff had multiple versions from live shows.

I love Jeff Buckley, and I think this is a very honorable cover, in a different style (talking about vocals and guitar).

I always try to play like Jeff with my guitar while I sing and there are parts impossible to cover. I think this is a nice video from a good artist.

I don't usually like covers of Jeff's songs because something about them makes them seem so unrecoverable.

I've been searching the world for a good cover of one of his songs and I've only found a good few that I feel really capture what Jeff was trying to say. And your cover is one of them.
