  • Oh thank god that 3d animation was unloaded, would have been a damn shame if it accidentally discharged and nothing happened

  • What an excellent video! My god man you should do or find more of these animations.

Field stripping video in less than two minutes that is clear and concise; Rare.

  • this is different to the remington m1911 i disassembled a few weeks ago. the main differences were that the barrel bushing was rotated counter-clockwise after the slide had been removed and also the recoil spring doesnt come off till you remove the slide. this is just in case anyone else has a problem with remington 1911s

  • thanks its very useful to me

  • what program did you use 4 this vid

  • that is alot of parts compared to a glock x.x

  • Browning hi power is much more simple. God Bless John Moises Browning!

  • This an excelent video. Thanks

  • Why the fuck won't my recoil spring come out???

  • @CarlChub be gentle. trying to force it can bend/snap something

  • just got that pistol its awesome!

  • Excellent job on the video. Very simple and to the point.

  • @Wingard14 Not at all

  • nice work!

  • well done

  • very use full info

  • Compared to some a 1911 isnt really that complicated. Just gotta get use to it

  • Very clear. Much easier to understand than most videos on the subject.

  • Been a while since I disassembled our Colt M1911A1 Series 80 Government model, but this help a lot

  • I would be to scared to disassemble a gun that is so complicated.

What if I can't put it back together properly and when I fire it it bursts in my hand?

  • @RandomDirectors doubt that is possible

  • @dwwilliams72 so the worst that could happen is it would get stuck and not fire?

  • @RandomDirectors I doubt seriously that it would even go back together. I've taken mine apart, though not to this extent, and all the pieces only fit in their respective places, and they have to go in right, or they don't go in at all.

  • @dwwilliams72 thats so cool unfortunately guns are illegal in uk...

  • @RandomDirectors Which is why you still have a monarchy ;) You can have long guns, can't you? I always picture the farmer, with an old double barrel, over his shoulder, hunting pheasant or partridge.

  • A little past field stripping but not full.I think there are around 80 parts,me and my friend dissassembled one a year ago.

  • thank you for this video ! helped me to clean my 1911 A1 government

  • Do you have an animation of the full disassembly?

  • Really cool graphics. Nicely done.

  • WRONG ! First you press the magazine release button to check there is no live ammunition in the mag. THEN you lock it to open positions and check the chamber.

  • @sejoker1905 Would have been awful if the animation had an ND...

  • Well done:) A public service to any new 1911 owner. Still, the perfect auto-pistol.

  • @Usfourcases it's amazing that this design is still superb 100 years after it's design.

  • @mbcNOOFS

I know. I can't believe its still used.

  • GREAT video. Not to long and easy to follow. Thank you.

  • Nice. I wish it did a complete strip though.

  • Great video with no sidebar commentary. Thanks, Augie

  • I would take the magazine out frist

  • Um, it was @ :31

  • @octaveman no he was talking about removing the mag before inspecting

  • awesome vid. can you get ahold of more like these for different pistols?
