Yes there were wars, Muhammad started them! He attempted to conquer others to enslave them in the name of islam. The texts say so. How blind can you get? "Allah" didn't have anyhting to do with this, it was all Muhammads idea. He claimed that he got revelations(dreams) about it but that is just cheap lies that he told his followers to give them a reason along with twisted hateful teachings about all disbelievers. It still goes on today and you are a willing slave to it. Let's be realistic.

This preacher is doing the same thing, not quoting the whole verse. The verse continues:

"Thus you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam and are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire or at least come under your protection"

...so again we are back at imposing islam by the sword as a general strategy of enslaving the world under filthy sharia. This is what Geert Wilders and many with him rightly are opposing.

@Millrider what is the verse number? There is NO verse in the Qur'an that tells muslims to fight the disbelievers unconditionally. Or to 'impose' their religion upon them. If this was true we wouldn't have so many millions of jews and chrisitans living in north african lands that have been ruled under sharia for more than a 1000 years.

That is verse 47:4 but I see now that those words are part of the translators insertion between brackets (Mohsin Khan). So perhaps it was not fair to quote that although muslims will read that if they have that translation. Anyway the Quran constantly sets the disbelievers up as enemies of Allah and verse 9:29 among others does say to fight them explicitly because of their disbelief. Sharia law uses that verse to justify offensive warfare. You can't hide jihad from the world.

@Millrider you are right about that part in the brackets. Jihad is a concept that muslims fight for the sake of their religion for its defence and betterment. We ALL fight for what we believe in, our land, our wealth, our family our honor, and our religion as well. It is suffice to say that since faith is an internal matter, nonmuslims cannot be forced into Islam. Since faith cannot be forced upon anyone. As for Jihad, killing innocents and creating destruction is not what the religion teaches.

NO ONE is hiding the concept of Jihad from anyone. This concept has a very important place in the Islamic theology. Since for Muslims, we are not a nation based on caste, color, race, language, geographical location or even lineage. People fight for the protection of their land, heritage, race e.t.c but us Muslims we are united on a whole different level i.e the religion of Islam.

Jihad is a struggle that has many different forms, but killing innocents is not one of them.

I asked a muslim on youtube about the meaning of this passage in the Qur'an: 2.216 "Fighting is prescribed for you and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing that is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth and ye know not."

To which he replied it was a passage to rouse the people to self defence. Then I asked him if that defence included conquering Countries from India to Spain he then blocked me... Interesting !!

Life is interesting Widukind. Imagine if everyone were the same - after a couple of years you wouldn't even want to get out of bed because everyone thinks the same as you, dresses the same, and has nothing new to offer! @TheWidukind for Muslims are commanded not to make spread chaos on the earth. As for fighting muslims are commanded to fight those who fight them. Those that are likely to harm and destroy them. As for those that want to make peace, it is compulsory on muslims to keep on the same terms as long as the other party keeps them.
