I love wolves. They never did anything to us, so why hunt them. Okay they might attack us if we get near they're young but you would attack a stranger who got too close to your baby, too.
If only that were the case - but unfortunately wolves are far from harmless, as they do pose a threat to those who live near them, and they also kill thousands of domestic animals a year, which is a big deal when you're a farmer and you're entire income depends on your livestock
Yes that is true. But we also ARE taking their hapitats away. without wolves, however, so many species would overpopulate causing others to increase, others to die, so on.
They are nessasary, especially in Canada/Alaska with caribou. However I do see your point that they have on humanity, but the damage of them gone is also indescribable.
What we really need is land we can never use and set them loads of free land for them, with no hunting.
That is true, although I think there are already plans like that in place - I know that the wolves' reintroduction to Yellowstone is part of an ongoing conservation program to increase the wolf population, and there are plans throughout Europe to reintroduce wolves to various areas, including Scotland and Norway. Infact, the only place where the wolf population is decreasing is Alaska thanks to that no-good cow, Sarah Palin

Its good to see them reintroduce to places like Scotland where the land is more favorable, but what lies in the future for these creatures is unimaginable, as our population increases at an alarming rate.
God let these majestic beasts continue to live and be free to hunt the land worry-free.
