I love to see stuff like this it shows how populer James was in his prime. What an exciting and big show and that's just the band and dancers throw in James and it's phenomenal.
Go Mr. Dynamite…his male dancers are on point and those ladies are beautiful and sexy still classy. you don't have to be half naked to get the attention
Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have the entire 1967 show posted, plus 1968 and 1969? These years were the greatest for James Brown AND with the greatest band. Thanks for bringing him back.

I tell you. I have seen more than one comment from this "ruleoforder" guy when it comes to james brown vids. The best advice I can give is to ignore him. He is a world class LOSER trying to get a rise out of everyone by saying dumb stuff. He isnt even a musician let alone can he call anyone simple or ignorant when he is displaying the girth of his intellect already!...lol
To 'djsolow' - He does not say "Eat that pussy tonight". He says "sweet disposition, always right", which are lyrics to the song, which is called "Out of Sight".
@eritreangurrl Everybody aint a dirty ho....the women nowadays are just as beautiful today as they've ever been(especially since more interracial reproduction), if not more so... It's the CREEPS who run the INDUSTRY who require/promote the image of women as ho's...I feel where you're coming from though, eritreangurrl....
Take a good look at the video of this song from the Olympia performance one year earlier, and note the evolution. Note the frenetic energy, in burst at the work in progress in 1966, then watch the tempo slow down, the pace even up, the base become more pronounced, and the band fall into a groove. You can see it in James, the Famous Flames and the female dancers. This is the transition from soul to FUNK...
Where are those dancers now? Can you imagine that somewhere, some kid gets to come home, pop in a DVD or click on a computer link, and say to his friends: "That dancer there on the left is my grandma!"
Thanks JBsoulman, couldn't agree more. I like to think that folks who just go for the jokes about him quiet down a little once they check out videos of him killing with unmatched talent.
I would love to see a longer version of this performance. Everything is so entertaining, I watch it over and over just to see everyone and what they're doing on stage!
