@PAKLANDRAND Yes that is an Ayah (meaning passage not Surat which takes many Ayahs to form them)...Of course before putting any judgement one must read the whole Surat and understand under which context it showed up. The Ayah you’re referring to was sent by Allah to the prophet Mohamed concerning wars, before Mohamed would not fight back after this Ayah it was clear to kill those whom attacked Muslims at that time which were the Kufar.

I have hindu friends, I respect their religion, I show that by not eating meat infront of them when they fast, I show that by driving them to the mandir when they need a lift. But I will not say "There is no god, but god, he has no partner" and then go and place a quran in a mandir to show my tolerance, there are other ways to show tolerance.
