@chuckblaze80 Thanks for the compliment. And I guess technically all fades are, by definition, a taper. But if 95% of people who got tapers asked for a taper and came out with a fade like this, they'd be mad. In my shop and most other shops I know of, a tapered cut usually has hair long enough to come on the sides and back over the taper. The only time I can think that would be different would be on a temp or a low caesar with the sideburns and back tapered.

how do you get your hair in the front the stand up/poof up like that without using gel. cuz ur hair doesnt look like it has any gel in this video. so how can i do that with my hair?

@ljitsu My hair is really curly around the edges so it just grows that way. When my hair is long, it's an afro. But to get hair to stay without using gel, you have to use heat to set it. Either an iron or blowdryer.
