yes that is a dirt track fast car with or without the board curt spalding is awsome and has no fear for the need of speed we've watch it go down not once but twice and rocks the track like no other only thing i havent seen curt drive on is dirt the first time i ever seen the spalding ride was at won what ya brung at galesburg and he's and all eyes on him since we luv to see him at the burg and the zoo speedways for terry sroufe hasnt held the record in a while

goes race... they call it call of the wild... you are allowed to do anything to your car... watch the other videos of call of the wild... its what they do... i was in the stands and EVERYONE in the crowd were on their feet screaming. It was a fully adrenaline pumped race. ITS A TRACK RECORD for crying out loud... the TRACK decides the rules...

Okay, if this terry sroufe guy is so fast... is he gunna actually try this year?? and make something of his record?? i mean that would b cool to try, but these cars gave it everything they had (curt and andy). As for the announcer yelling, if you would've been there you would've been yelling too, that was the only thing he could do to get over the crowd, the record was not only broken once that night, and everyone was pumped and yelling. as for the board, thats the point... its an 'anything' ...

I'll tell you what the announcers that they have at the speedway now are absolutely horrible. One they need to learn that they don't always have to yell, and two they need to learn to not eat the mic and hold it away from their mouths

The board is what is making the car go as fast as it is. It catches the air and plants the car to the race track. If Curt took the board off, he wouldn't be even close to the record. Not bad for a dirt late model, eh.

I'm going to go build a 3 tenths of a mile and call it a 3/8ths then get my announcer to scream really loud and tell everyone its a world record lap when my track isnt even a true 3/8ths. This is PT Barnum fake promotion crap that is unnecessarily and lowers this sport.
