@montezoma Yes indeed. The forced imposition of Arabian culture in the Middle East since the 7the century has caused many ancient civilizations to have their own cultural identity erased. Most Egyptians, Assyrians and Babylonians no longer have any idea about their ancestors cultural identity. They don't even speak their own language - Aramaic and Akkadian. The same could be said about most most Israelites, that remained in Israel during the Arabian and Ottoman occupation periods.
