Whales have babies, the babies grow up and they have babies. This causes an increase in the whale population as whales naturally die much slower than whales are born. If nothing kills the whales, then we have an over-population problem. If too many whales are killed, we have endangerment. As of right now the rate they are being killed at is balanced. There is no problem, plz go away.

Plus the Japanese government prohibited endangered whale species to be hunted. Therefore they only kill species that have a large population, so its not harming anyone.
