@DJchupacabrah If you right click on the volume button of the sample, you will see something called "automation" click on it. And from there you make a pause by muting the sound exac exactly where you want. Good luck.

@QazCwalk - best way is to listen to old soul/funk/jazz records back from the 60's and '70s mostly. i know nowadays you have tons of samples and drum loops and what not but the real power is in the originals..still :)

@QazCwalk I'm not really sure. The drums are sampled from old songs mostly. Or maybe you are looking for TR-808 samples?
