every video i've seen of him, the mixing he does are horrible. Either different scales, or just nothing flows, and this whole video is like that... like 2:13 .. wtf was that?

hmmm, I don't know. I've seen A-Trak multiple times and I think he knows how to build the energy of the crowd pretty well. Yeah, it's almost too easy to do that simple "spin out" move he did at 2:13, but people seemed to like it.
