  • I send this video to all my new mom friends. When we started doing this double swaddle, our baby's sleep improved immediately. (OMG thank you.) She is 6 months old now and just starting to break out of it, but the nights we've tried to forego the swaddle entirely have been disasters. She prefers to be swaddled still. ;)

  • I had the same experience as erinsawyer16. My babies could roll over easily with arms free, but not in the swaddle. I swaddled until 9 months with my first (in the video) and my second was done with it by 6 months. Worked like a charm for both of them with no issues!

  • This is the best thing ever!!! Wish I had found it before he was born...but have used it since 2 months and he is almost four now and he sleeps great in it...he does roll over when he is not swaddled but has not when he is...I use the muslin blanket and then a receiving blanket over it with just swaddling his arms and he loves it...I typically wait till he is feed, burped and asleep to swaddle, he use to wake up ever 30 minutes and not slept more than an hour not in my arms!!

  • amazing! few questions: this baby looks about 4 months (?) Is there a risk of the baby rolling from back to tummy and getting stuck b/c their arms are pinned? Any worry of overheating with the blanket and swaddle? thnx awesome mom!!!!!

  • @BKv2dot0 my little one does not over heat...I just put him in a cotton sleeper and keep the room around 68 degrees or cooler...

  • I used this technique until my daughter was 6 months old...it is SO much better than ANY blanket you can buy, hands down. We'd put her in a sleep sack after swaddling her in the double swaddle & she NEVER was able to break out of it.

  • My little one can break free from the swaddling that I learned from the hospital. I rushed out to get these blankets and this is by far the best thing ever. I am going to share this with all my new mommy friends!

  • Had to watch twice because the baby is so cute it's distracting! Thank you for the quick lesson!

  • @mazdab4k So true!

  • It will not cause stiffness. She is not wrapping the legs so there aren't any issues with the hip joints. Also, swaddling is one of the only ways an infant can sleep well so that their moro reflex doesn't wake them up. Thx for the video, I'm def doing this with my 11 week old Houdini.

  • Awesome! Just got back from Dr. Keppler's class and she recommended we look up this video. Thanks! I can't wait to try it tonight!

  • Thanks for posting this! I've done this a few times already with my 2 month old, even helps with putting her down for a nap. Nice and cozy!

  • doesnt that casue stifness

  • fantastic MOM!!

  • I'm not sure if it's because I'm watching this pregnant, but I have a sudden craving for burritos :)

  • Bless you. Bless you bless you bless you. I was about to go right out of my mind with a fussy, crying baby. 5 minutes after I got her into this swaddle, she was OUT. These are tears of relief. *mwah*

  • By far better than any swaddling blanket...

  • This is the BEST swaddle technique I have ever used - my son sleeps through the night now as he cannot get out of this swaddle. Thank you so much for posting it online for others to use!
