This bodes well for Mao leading up to 2014 In Sochi for the Olympics. I know that Mao has to skate better In the future, but I definitely think that she will be at her absolute best at the World Championships for example. Oh yes I remember that Kristi Yamaguchi won the 1992 OGM in Albertville NOT skating a "clean" program, If I remember correctly, all her main competitors had "mistakes" In their programs too....
So In closing today, Congratulations to Mao on her 1st place win today In Russia!!!

I saw the 2nd & 3rd place finishers just now, and even though they are very good prospects for the future....In this particular competition, Mao had the best performance....one of the EuroSport commentators said that the judges gave 1st to Mao on the presentation scores, and I think that he may be right. as a Mao supporter, I'm happy that the Judges gave Mao "props" shall we say on the presentation marks. this bodes well for Mao

Actually she made some mistakes in jumps, however her step and spins were sophisticated, so I thought she deserved Champion of this competition.
I'm looking forward to perfect performance by mao asada in following competitions!
