pretty sure her doctor would've stopped her if it was a big problem, and actually especially for women who are physically active before they were pregnant it's good for them because for normally active women it doesn't really put to much strain on them or the baby.. Anyway, I think it's impressive that you were still doing your thing that 6 1/2 months! Hope the delivery went smoothly!
if you google pregnancy modified zumba there's websites that say how to modify the jumping and hard twisting and what to do instead. i am 20wks prego and just started zumba. i love it!
wow i love to dance an im 29weeks i was thinking i couldnt do any dance work outs but i guess it is okay...do u have any dance exercies for preganent women?
Why shouldn't she?! This is 2011, not 1967. It's not so much about heartrate anymore. It's more about oxygen intake! So as long as she has a substantial amounts of breaks to recover from her 'high' cardio portion and she doesn't get winded, she's fine!! Way to go fellow ZIN. Great job!
ok are you sure you can do this? you know that if your heart beat goes higher than 60% of your maximum then you are taking the oxigen from the baby.. therefore you CANNOT go higher then approx 114 and thats fairly easy to reach :(
@maggmiss My son is now a healthy 16 month old baby!! I danced till I was 8 months pregnant!!! You would freak if you saw the other pregnant girl who does Zumba... she's way intense and there's nothing stopping her!! Thanks for your concern though! I only did what i felt comfortable with!!
I love that your still teaching even though your pregnant! I was thinking about that the other day what would I do if I got pregnant, and I DEFINITELY would keep teaching lol
Thanks everyone!! I went till I was 8 months!! I was READY to stop when I did!! Ha ha.. thank for everyone's support!!
