  • Has anyone actually observed a Black Hole forming?

  • How do we know so much about Black Holes, if they have never actually been observed? Apparently, the Universe should not exist, because equal amounts of Matter and Anti-Matter were formed during the Big Bang... So why is it scientists do not think that Black holes are just Anti-Matter clumped together like planets? Sucking up and destroying all the matter, and then just disappearing like Hawkin suggests? Once Black Holes suck everything up, surely there would be no matter? Just a thought..

  • @shaolinfingajab This is my idea. If black holes are Anti-Matter that cancel out matter. It's a question of how much matter there is to cancel out. If dark matter is neither created or destroyed. (supposedly). My theory is that black holes could merely be the "recycle bins" of the universe. Transforming un-needed matter back into dark matter that is needed to cause quantum fluctuations that start "big bangs" that create universes. Basically being parallel universe gateways.

  • @xBlackEditionx String Theory is similar. When two membranes which form different universes in the multiverse touch each other, black holes could be gateways from one universe to another. Look up "M theory" There are said to be 11 dimensions. I know that Black Holes are said to eject massive beams of energy when they suck things in, massive amounts of energy, the same is said to happen if matter meets anti-matter.

  • @conz132 Sometimes i lay in your mothers dresser and pretend im her dildo...

  • We cant get ANYWHERE cuz of religion. Fuckin muslims wont cooperate with the west and vice versa, religious ignorance is the barrier behind knowledge.

  • I time travel everyday in my time machine. I call it, the bed. I close my eyes and 8 hours later I am in the future with out having any recollection of those 8 hours.

  • The problem I have is that, if time travel is possible, why has nobody from the future travelled back to our time or before?

  • @Jericholic129 im guessing humans wont get far enough for that in other words we will probably blow each other up before we reach that phase of technology but then again if we did go back in time wed change the future so maybe we will someday get to grips with it but we cannot interact with the past in anyway....like back to the future

  • @Jericholic129 Well that begs the question, how do you know no one did? I mean why would they let it be known so easily? why go back to this time? perhaps when it is discovered so far in the feature that when they travel to the past it will still be to us the feature if you grasp what I am saying.

  • @Jericholic129 Time only goes one way, scientists call it "The Arrow of Time", there is alot that is wrong with the Standard Model of Physics. It contradicts itself alot...like they found recently that the speed of light is not the speed limit of the universe, because some sub atomic particals travelled faster..

  • time travel is easy! just steal a tardis!

  • T'will never happen.

  • Congrats, you gave me little understandable info and a migrain. But thats just my lack of understanding, wish i understood

  • Didn't you watch the new star trek? That's what they did to Vulcan

  • The force is strong in this one

  • One thing to think about. Maybe, instead of going into a never-ending loop, what would happen is time would be looped, but then it would start spiraling out, and theoritcally causing time to reverse more and more....

  • @AwsomiSoftChannel i completely agree with you. though alot of science has been produced b/c of wars. But anyhow yes i feel if we weren't so interested in killing our-self. We might be very much more advanced and sophisticated.

  • I swear humans are so stupid, why don't we fix our problems instead of fighting wars... If everyone came together we could be settling mars right now... and we would be so much more advanced... stupid ass government.

  • huh?

  • and to where is the universe expanding? whats behond the limits of it? what would we see if we crossed the limit of the universe? if the universe had a begining what

  • lol and how to prevent our body to become a soup while in these travels??

and how can we measure our speed if space isnt static? i can allready be traveling at near the speed of light without noticing it. imagine an alien watching me thru is scope, observing our solar system crossing is line of sight

  • lol stupidaly time travel would be easy. travel a bit far away from earth at over speed of light, then fly back at even a higher speed. result: u would arrive before u left

theres just 2 problems. 1st: u can never gain enough energy to do this. 2nd: we're not going to achieve this kind of technology because we as MAN will be consumed by ourselfs and extinct

  • @brunomanco Cool, so basically if i walk to the shop then on the way back i catch a taxi, meaning the travel back to home was faster then the time it took me to walk to the shop, i would be back before i set off. So if i forgot to get the milk i wouldnt have to go to the shop again, i could just remind myself to get it before i went. How awesome is that, thanks brunomanco for the insight lol.

  • @Gamer4EvaTrailers

Say you travel faster than light away from Earth, about 400 light years away and it only took you 100 years to get there, when you look back at Earth you would be able to see what the Earth looked like 200 years before you left, but if you kept looking at Earth as you traveled faster than light on the way back, what you would see is time fast forwarding until you got back to Earth 200 years after you left.

You can see the past, but you wont be able to be there.

  • @Gamer4EvaTrailers imagine that when u go to the shop you advance, lets say 500 meters, and 5 minutes in time. but when u come back, u subtract 500 meters, returning to your starting point, but you add another 5 minutes in your path instead of subtracting. in bigger distances, time will become just another direction, like X Y or Z. its the theory of the hippercube

  • @brunomanco your saying you can walk 500 meters in 5 minuites then return home at the same rate they proceded to tell me time will become another direction and in what direction does time move at defualt?

  • isnt time travel, meh i dont know maybe..... BAD?

  • Mind fuck!

  • I heard tht in the future if u traveled at the speed of light for a whole week, u would b 100 years into the future!!!!! But u could build a massive spaceship to go in orbit around the edge of a black hole and slow time yourself.

  • if we travel in back in time and if a black hole forms we will all perish cause the force of gravity will be so immence that we will be crushed and our intire galaxy

  • @Stillmydarkmist but how do you know that if you've never been in one >:3

  • Cosmic strings=>Sheldon Cooper

  • I don't think that time can be changed. Space can be altered due to whatever power or energy strong enough to do so. But I think time itself is its own property that cant be bent. Or at least not by black holes or gravity. But this is just my own opinion.

  • @cheyenne140k Time dilation proves you can slow time down and speed it up, but you can't make it go backwards, which is probably nature's way of preventing a time paradox.

  • What's up with his face? #steven Hawking...

  • 1.21 Jiggawatts!

  • @bigAW100 Thats just back to the future, it does not apply to reality.

  • Even if all these hypotheses are true, humankind will become extinct before applying any of this knowledge. What good is knowledge that will never be applied? That's equivalent to bullshit.

  • @rubinterryluddy Dude, shut the hell up. God, your annoying.

  • sometimes i lay on the floor and pretend im a carrot...

  • @conz132 cool story bro

  • @conz132 i pretend im a potato

  • i dont think hose noodles are going to warp space and time. maybe in 100billion years...not anytime soon buddy.

  • HOW TO PERFORM TIME TRAVEL:

    1. BUILD TWO HUGE NORTH & SOUTH POLE MAGNETS (2 Storeys high).

    2. PLACE THEM NOT SO FAR AND NOT SO CLOSE TO MAKE THE ATTRACTION.

    3. BUILD A ROLLER COASTER THAT TRAVELS & CIRCLING BETWEEN THE HUGE MAGNETS.

    4. HAVE THE ROLLER COASTER TRAVEL MACH 4 OR GREATER.

    5. PREPARE 60KV OF ELECTRICITY.

    6. FIND A WAY TO DISCHARGE THAT ELECTRICITY OVER THE MAGNETS TO REVERSE THE POLARITY (YOU CAN'T DO THIS IF YOU LACK THE CAPACITY TO DO IT).

    7. GOOD LUCK!

    8. PATENT FREE! REGARDS!

  • @pogpog28 One that will never ever work, two that will never ever work, even though that is only one major flaw I thought it was such a big one it was worth saying twice.

  • @pogpog28 Also i just like to say that einstein acctually created a time machine many years ago but after the Manhattan project, he created it but the Americans dropped the A bomb on Japan, then he thought what have I done so he didnt want it to get it into the wrong hands eg Americans, so he in a sence destroyed it.

  • OK so what if im dragged into a black hole, i reach a point close to it where space-time is distorted enough to allow travel back in time, and i end up to a point where the black hole doesn't exist? how would that work?

  • @dlander67 It doesnt lol. But it's fun to think about. A black hole isnt even a hole. It's a collapsed star with immense gravity. Not only do they suck in particles but they spray them out too. So a black hole has a life span and doesnt last forever. Your not going to time travel, thats just your perception because light bends (light is a wave and a particle), if you get to close to a black hole you'll just die.

  • If we do some how travel forwards in time it would prove that the future has already been written other whys we would not be appeal to travel forward.

  • this stuff is so interesting

  • If stephen hawkings wasn't disabled.. imagine what the great things he could have done

  • english PLEASE lool i dont understand 1 thing theyre saying ;o

  • The largest black holes in the universe are found in the Congress.

  • First of, Boogyman4050 its called a black hole not a wormhole, a wormhole is like a portal to travel from one part space to another, its not powerful enough to rip open the fabric of reality to emerge in a different part of time, and I have accutally created a way to travel back in time right now in a sense it requires may formula on paradaxs to create an endless loop in time and space for an infinite amount of time to create and use time travel, but i need the future to go back to the past.

  • Step 1: Grade 11 Physics,

    Step 9421532: Time Travel.

  • @50JacketsProductions Naw its step 9421533. Then you can time travel. Step 9421532 is Activate the Phenom Quad switch and rotate the thrusters at light speed and spin the gray-lerd.

  • so all i need is pasta to time travel!!! GENIUS!

  • All u morons on YouTube commenting like anything u say matters ,u guys are useless wastes of air go find a black hole and jump in it

  • Most top dog astro physicists believe all the Earth's out there, orbit in a system located in an outer band of a spiral galaxy w/SupBlk Hole in the middle ONLY. Like our Earth. More stable in outer bands for billions of years.

  • Black Holes were proven already. No SuperBlack Holes, no spiral galaxies. Totally different universe without em. Worm Hole is theory.

  • @ranger35pwn. A shuttle would crush faster in a wormhole, than Columbia disintegrated.

  • I wander if we could build a space shuttle with a video camera on it that would take a long time to get destroyed and have the video be sent back to HQ or (space launch area) so we could see whats inside right. oh and come to my channal

  • 3 biggest problems with wormhole time travel. 1. Being able to get to one 2. Finding a stable wormhole 3. A space ship made of material, that can handle going through a wormhole without being crushed or disintegrated. So in other words, FORGET ABOUT IT!

  • @Boogyman4050 Anything is Possibble.

  • @kolo622 can't we just fly around the outside of a black hole (just outside the event horizon) and that alone will be time travel to the past? the pilots will return having not aged?

  • @mcrettable I dont know :(

  • First of, Boogyman4050 its called a black hole not a wormhole, a wormhole is like a portal to travel from one part space to another, its not powerful enough to rip open the fabric of reality to emerge in a different part of time, and I have accutally created a way to travel back in time right now in a sense it requires my formula on paradaxs to create an endless loop in time and space for an infinite amount of time to create and use time travel, but i need the future to go back to the past.

  • @Boogyman4050 It takes an incredible challenge to reap an incredible reward.

  • @Boogyman4050 For now.

  • @Boogyman4050 You can't destroy matter or me for serious! ripping holes in you bigger than the whole in your black hole theory was!!!

  • @Boogyman4050 If everyone thought like that then we wouldn't get anywhere!

  • @Boogyman4050 Yes but, by researching more and more, they will probably find the solution to your question, or maybe even better, they can create black holes, and by creating they can easily make it stable.

  • Imagination and knowledge: Will they blend?

  • I think that when all thories come togther, it will become a endless loop that will distorts and it will become worse.

  • I love how they make these HUGEEEEE theories about space and time based off of nothing more then guesses. Have they ever had any explicit proof of a blackhole? No. Do they have any proof of cosmic strings? No. Were just guessing about guesses ontop of guesses.... Useless...

  • @LOLwut499 Yes they are guesses. And they are not meant to be accepted at first glance. This is science. It's a bunch of educated guesses that become theories and through observations and experimentation they become validated, invalid or changed to something that fits the theory. It expands our knowledge and helps us learn how the universe works. Someone "guessed" that the Earth was in the centre of the universe, another made an educated guess that the sun was. Look what turned out to be right.

  • @SovietNinjah Yes but the fact of the matter is that THOSE guesses actually had feasible information that could help them expand on their theory. We have no true proof of black holes, we've never even detected one, we've only assumed they were there. We knew the sun was there and we noticed other celestial bodies orbiting it, therefore we could draw substance evidence to support said theories. As opposed to black holes where there is no evidence to even begin with. Understand?

  • @LOLwut499 Yes there is evidence. As matter swirls into a black hole it becomes incredibly hot and emits X-rays. Because black holes cannot be seen directly, scientists detect them by observing X-ray emissions and the behavior of nearby stars. You don't need to see things with your eyes for there to be evidence of their existence. By this logic we don't have evidence for evolution, or even the big bang.

  • trolololollololol

  • How is my grammar incorrect? Please show it to me. Mid East means Middle East, but short because I was running out of characters. Why are you mocking my spelling and grammar when yours is the worst? A few examples from your posts: 'dis', 'ur', 'crysis', 'r', 'south korea'. Those are spelling errors. Not to mention your wrong choice of words: 'learn some intelligent'. And also your punctuation is dreadful. It seriously hurts my eyes just to read your posts.

  • @Ninja9191 I love you.

  • @mabz9 I know, babe.

  • ur a bunch of stupid assholes if u think dat dis could solve any of the crysis in the middle east, its fuckheadz like u who r goin to start the war with south korea

  • @laxbro440 Oh my god! Your spelling and inability to start a conversation like a civilized human being is seriously making my blood pressure rise, good sir! First of all, these are scientists, not politicians who are interested in money, power and influence. Scientists are people who want to understand more of the world and the universe we live within. And to get to your comment, why would anyone start a war with South Korea? And how can you even relate this matter to the Mid East? GASP!

  • @Ninja9191 if u want to be such an idiot and agree with these crackheads its ur business but at least u could do it with an intelligent grammar, wtf s the mid east? u r a moron and until u learn some intelligent u dont get enough respect for a response

  • @laxbro440 You took the words right out of my mouth, sir! That was exactly what I was trying to say to you!

  • @Ninja9191 ninja please

  • @laxbro440 Incredible comeback. Just what I've expected of you, my good fellow!

  • @Ninja9191 I sincerely appreciate that you engaged me in my nonsense. Without trollbait, this world just wouldn't be the same.

  • @laxbro440 Very good conversation, I have to admit. A- for effort and presentation.

  • @laxbro440 Also, I am quite relieved you're not really that messed up.

  • @laxbro440 "but at least u could do it with an intelligent grammar, u r a moron and until u learn sum intelligent"

    ROFL.

  • this shit wont happen.

  • "well. a black holes like a hotel where you check in butcha neva' check out"

  • What happens when two black holes meet together?? :/

  • @UltimateGameriz They will most likely merge into a single black hole. It's suspected that the largest black holes in the center of most galaxies is formed by black holes merging into one, into one into one and so on over the vast millions of years since the universe was formed.Considering the first stars that died and could have formed black holes, and then think about how many times the large black hole in the milky way would have formed to become so large over the billions of years. Fantastic

  • @UltimateGameriz shit.

    shit happens. LOL.

  • A naked singularity is impossible due to neutrino radiation

  • O.O i never thought stevin hawking was real xDDD i thoght family guy futureama and simpsons were just makeing up the same carecter O.o

  • @sheshevenomess ...Wat.

  • @Calice0 i dnt no :/

  • @sheshevenomess you are dumb

  • @RealStreetBomberNorc no not all da time >.>

  • @sheshevenomess go to school

  • i wonder UFO's Can Travel At The Speed Of Light and able to go in black holes.

  • Guys, I dont think time travell is possible. It can lead to so many paradoxes

  • @Ages15 You're pretty retarded. Paradoxes have nothing to do with whether time travel is possible or not.

  • Cosmic strings, really? I hate most theoretical physicists! More chance of soming accross a tardis that a cosmic string! Mking bullshit up so he can be on tv. PFFFFT!

  • You'd think they would update his computer voice!

  • more national geographic sensationalism dribble. the only quality publication from NG is in print. RIP documentaries.

  • black holes suck. get it?

  • This once again makes me wonder: What happens if he returns from his ride before he even departs and prevents himself from traveling through time? I imagine traveling back in time as they describe it isn't possible, that's also just a guess tho lol ^^ If it was doable I think some evil mastermind would already have traveled back and conquered the stoneage world with futuristic weapons or something like that, humans are dumbasses after all :D

  • black holes have such a powerful gravitational pull that anything within their radius is instantly sucked in and destroyed, but theres another theory that black holes are connected to white holes, we're not sure whether or not white holes exist but this is just a theory. anyways when the black hole sucks in whatever is in its radius that thing that is sucked in is destroyed and then when it reaches the white hole in the alternative univeres it is put back together because the energy is so PWRFL

  • Black Holes can't be seen, they're inferred. BLACK HOLE a.k.a. A SINGULARITY which is the fancy mathematical term for "we don't know what this is." And theoretical astrophysics isn't science, it's mythology. Made up terms like blackholes, spacetime, Big Bang, and cosmic strings are just as phony as heaven, hell, or the easter bunny.

  • J.richard gott stop playing with your food right this instant!

  • Stop playing with your food!

  • YES! finally! i found people who share my intrest with science! i like all kinds of science! well...not fossiles...because then that gse to history and history is boring

  • @pinkylover75 I like both history and science(astronomy/cosmology mostly). In YouTube videos like these, you can have many discussions with smart people. It's fun to share your knowledge! Now I feel like a total nerd. Excuse me while I sulk in the corner.

  • I'm scared of black holes time traveling seems impossible just thinking about it makes me crazy nd makes my brain hurt

  • you cant travel through time its impossible time is man made you cant just apeear into the future because nothing has happened yet. going back in time is also impossible just cause of the simple fact of a measurement no matter which way you go its always positive

  • @MaximusMusicx

    Time is man made?

    Lol retard.

  • @MaximusMusicx Time is just a name, the name is man made, but what is named isn't. We name our planet Earth, but did man create it? You also don't understand time travel. 'Nothing has happened yet' so you think that time travelling is using a magical screen to view what is happening in the future? No! I agree with going back in time is impossible but man please read up more about how scientists think that time travel is possible before coming up with your ridiculous theories.

  • @MaximusMusicx Why are you so stupid? Man made the word up but not what the word represents. antimatter????????????

  • @JettaPG people are saying im retarded but really what is time? time is a measurement which is man made reguardless of how you look at it it was created to measure how long days are and years which is the mesurement of how long it takes to orbit the sun please prove me wrong i love a good debate but i do also belive scienctists are to narrow minded they belive no life forms can be in our galaxy but there only basein it off of carbon bases lifeforms

  • @MaximusMusicx Stating that time travel is man made just made your whole comment worthless.

If it was that simple to disprove then I'm sure scientists would have given up on the idea, don't you think so too?

  • @TheElectricEchoes people are saying im retarded but really what is time? time is a measurement which is man made reguardless of how you look at it it was created to measure how long days are and years which is the mesurement of how long it takes to orbit the sun please prove me wrong i love a good debate but i do also belive scienctists are to narrow minded they belive no life forms can be in our galaxy but there only basein it off of carbon bases lifeforms

  • @MaximusMusicx Yes we have a measuring system for time, used to quantifying time. We defined a natural occurrence. Speed, weight and distance ect. also exist in the external universe, having measuring systems for them doesn't prove the non-existence of them.

Time in itself is a sequence of events happening. They still happen even if we don't have a measurement.

I love if you elaborated on your point.

  • @TheElectricEchoes i do see yours indeed you ar very intellgent but thats all theroy doesnt mean it isnt true just the main point is when you leave at one time you may use this theory in the vid but you left! you may have whent a shit ton quicker but you cant see your self leave i also dont think the human body could withstand the speed of light anyway idk im trying to prove my theory on white holes

  • @MaximusMusicx The faster you move through space, the slower we move through time and vice versa. So theoretically speaking we certainly can. Obviously humans are limited due to g-force. I'm not entirely clued up on this but a fraction of the speed of light still slows down time. So in the distant future I believe we certainly can. Have a read about time dilation.

On the other had we ave worm holes which is like a tunnel through space time. This would be different from the speed of light.

  • @TheElectricEchoes your retarded the speed of light doesnt slow down time. it just appears that way if you travel at the speed of light for 4 mins and i time it where you left. reguardless of how fast your going 4mins later you'll stop. so far you proved nothing to me. all of these theroys are just ways of increasing speed.

but like i said befor im more focused on proving a theory on white holes the oppsite of black holes.

  • @MaximusMusicx I believe Einstein's theory of relativity and time dialation proves you wrong.

  • @trurealest theres too many theorys brought out that havent even been proved yet so whateves mang thats my theory

  • @MaximusMusicx Maybe so, but this one was proven with the atomic clock test. And also with tests that were done on astronauts after returning from the international space station which showed they had aged at a slightly slower rate to people still on earth. So once again, you're incorrect.

  • @trurealest did they come back at the same time?

  • @MaximusMusicx Uhhh....yes. Why? What point are you trying to argue around?

  • @MaximusMusicx Also, on your comment, 'time is man made'....sorry, once again incorrect. The word time is man made, but time itself started at the moment of the Big Bang. Time is the measurement between two set points, nothing to do with the human race.

  • @arshadhameed0912266 Maybe you're right, I know nothing about science. I just wrote some thoughts after a joint. :P

  • according to the theory that the universe is curved as a 4th dimensional sphere expanding like a balloon with 3D chunks of matter for e.g. galaxies, stars, exc. on its surface then perhaps black holes are 3D holes on the 4D surface, so you could imagine this very easily as a 3D sphere expanding with 2D galaxies on it and 2D holes so if u fall into the 2D hole u fall inside the 3D sphere so perhaps if you enter a black hole u fall inside the 4D sphere.

  • inception...

  • JUST GET SOMEONE TO FLY IN THEIR WITH A MOBLIE PHONE to tell us whats going on

  • 4:44 - 4:50 pioneers have pushed the boundaries turning science fiction into reality? HOW???? THEY HAVEN'T PROVED ANYTHING!! ALL THEY ARE DOING IS MAKING MORE THEORIES ONTO TOP OF MORE THEORIES ON TOP OF MORE THEORIES!

  • I... dont understand..?

  • If we could time travel in the future, wouldn't have already seen a time traveler by now?

  • @FreddyJFTW In future, time travel to past will be possible only to the day when the first time mashine was invented. As soon as we make the first one, we'll get instructions from the future how to improve this technology. We will be able to gather knowledge from billions of years in one day. Fuck, it will be awesome time to live in. Fuck this Lady Gaga craze!

  • @FreddyJFTW Maybe we just didnt believe them....

  • @FreddyJFTW If you always wanted to see a time traveller, travel thru time the exact time you entered the machine and your a time traveller.

  • @FreddyJFTW no because they would probably have formed what the world they wanted it to be to change the future and stayed out of sight

  • @FreddyJFTW thnink about that. If we didnt find time travel yet why would someone in the PAST have found it already, to travel into the past you need to go past the speed of light and so people would only be able to travel into the future, sooooo since we have not found out how to do it realisticly yet, we will be the first ones to see it unless in the future we figure out how to travel to the past

  • @FreddyJFTW exactly. if you look for yourself every second of your life, you'll know if time travel is possible before you die.

  • @FreddyJFTW you can travel in the future, but not in the past

  • @FreddyJFTW Probably not for fear of making a time paradox.

  • @FreddyJFTW we have ufos

  • @FreddyJFTW Possibly we have? Perhaps groups of future scientists have decided to send back androids to live among of us. Maybe Michael Jackson or The Beatles were just time-traveling test drones that were sent back in time by a future generation to see if they could rewrite history. Or maybe, the time travelers are blending in with modern-day scientists to prevent the technology that allowed them to travel back in the first place. Perhaps time is nothing but a figment of our imagination.

  • @FreddyJFTW They say if you travel back in time you effectively create an alternative reality

  • @FreddyJFTW

Some people think that the future has yet to happen.

We are the beginning. If we haven't reached that time yet, then it can't happen.

  • @FreddyJFTW Not if the parallel dimension theory is correct... geeky, huh?

  • @FreddyJFTW Maybe the time traveler have traveled to another age ahead of our age.
