Do they ever pet the animals before hurting them severely? They could have a room where the animals are petted nicely maybe...Then after the severe hurting maybe they could pet them again, but maybe just pet around where the blood might be...or they could put a tube in there to take away the blood during the severe hurting. Then they could even pet them longer, or maybe pet them even where some of the red blood may be.

This is why i think hunting is the only way to eat an animal, first of all the thrill of the kill is awesome, and the animal that you are eating has lived an awesome free natural life. and up until about 5 seconds after you pull that trigger the animal has no idea it's going to die; this is no way to treat animals especially if were gonna eat them.

canada has nothing to do with how they are handled over the border they just get sold and then its up to the owner to handle them with the care they need. if you see pigs being transfered in alberta its not like this. thi is all a product of out sourceing if they were to raise there own livstock than they would not have to transport them so far and under such low cost and cruel conditions

Pigs are not as smart as people say. If you ever actually worked let alone seen a real pig you would know. Pigs lay on their babies do they care no, they kill and eat their own babies, does it phase them no, they kill each other no matter how much space you give them. They have instinct not feelings. If they had the same feelings we do they would feel alot of guilt for the amount of other pigs they have killed!! They besides they taste so good they eat each other :)
