honestly sounds exactly like yngwie malmsteen ( the shred licks). the B diminished arpeggios at :11 give it away. and the over under thing on the neck sounds stupid bullshit.
the squier classic 60's vibe is one of the most badass strats ive seen, it gives american made strats a bad name everything from pickups too the neck to the finish.

ok, you can play fast, you can do some sweep picking stuff, that's ok. . now start listening to OTHER kind of music. . listen to some jazz, some funk, open your mind a lil' bit, and use that tool you have (technique) to make some music
Oh, the squire...well..it is my "teaching-guitar", you know... But I think, that the sound comes from the Seymour- Duncans, that I have installed before! :-)

wow, that Squire has good tone, i guess the rosewood fretboard helps eliminate some fretboard noise, rather than maple with its higher tone.
