Is this guy really making a request for people to stop making sexually suggestive comments on the internet???? That in itself is pretty funny. I don't mean that in a disrespectful manner, its more of a shock laugh. Thats like trying to get a horse jockey to play basketball.
No one deserve to be insulted whether male or female, whether big boy or a shy person. We are in the 21st centuries and name calling, prejudice, hatred should not exist. We pride ourselves by all technological advances we make yet we are still like animals, making wars, killing eachothers and attacking/insulting others.
i'm a Muslim, proud to be a Muslim yet I'm also a resident of this planet and happy to share it with all my fellow human beings and my animal friends.
There's a reasonably simple solution to this, there are plenty of tools YouTube gives which allow people to remove comments and block users. The is nothing wrong with removing offensive content-free comments, it is not a sin against free speech or an act of hypocrisy. If anybody posts a comment on my videos which is about my appearance I just delete it. If a person makes a second such comment I block them from the channel.
To be honest I couldn't careless what people write about me in these comments. I am all in favour of free speech. I am just appealing for a little consideration for others.
I don't block people unless they are persistently and deliberately off topic.
How is commenting on personal appearance not off topic? How does it add to the debate?
How does anybody know you have blocked a user? If you want to have the illusion of being open to criticism you can delete and bar people who make hateful comments and then invent negative comments that you know aren't sincere and don't really hurt.
Of course it wasn't a sincere suggestion. I thought it might just make you think about what the benefit of leaving hurtful comments is. There isn't any! I assume you believe in free speech and a right to life. Does your belief in the right to life extend to you allowing obnoxious strangers to help themselves to the contents of your fridge? Of course not. Removing empty insults has nothing to do with encouraging state censorship.
You might as well give people "the right of reply" to your tattoos!

I agree, however I feel it is a slippery slope, so I try to stay off it. Besides, if all someone can do in response to me is post an insult, they are saying a lot more about themselves than me
