@BRAWLERBOY66 any medium size axe that will hold an edge, and you can put an edge on when it gets dull will do, I like the cold steel trail boss because it is light enough to pack but will also make quick work of anything you need. It is also inexpensive so I bought several and even keep them in my vehicles
I agree totally with: "practice, Practice, PRACTICE!" When I was younger, with better eyes, reflexes, and a little more freedom to shoot where we chose, I'd spend all my free time shooting. As a kid I would stuck 22LR cartridges in the dirt and shoot the rims with my dad's old Benjamin 22, the tiny explosions while dangerous, was cool as heck! I'd also turn on the water faucet with the very same Benjamin.Today I hunt, shoot competitively, and am an NRA Instructor.
I don't want to be a hater, but basically anyone who is a hand gun enthusiast or even an Air Rifler can do this. Get at least 20 yards away, off hand. That is skill.
@lambchops1493 I always say anyone can do anything with practice, but I would bet money you cant do it. Otherwise you would have posted a video showing us how easy it is instead of making a comment. So go for it I will even post the video for you.
@shilohtv I see how your doubting me, but I don't have a means of recording me doing this. Honestly, this isn't hard. What would be hard is hitting this shot from 20+ yards standing off hand. I'm not saying I could do this, but I probably can with practice, I'm just saying that it would make more a better video than shooting this close.
@lambchops1493 You have to be able to see the front edge of the blade to hit it, with iron sights it is very difficult, and at 20 yards most peoples eyes are not that good if they hit it, it would be luck
You sir, have a gift.

What type of axe would you reccommend as an all round axe.
