John Babbacombe Lee has to be the best album Fairport convention has made it just a fantastic, fairport have captured the whoile concept of John Lee's life in bought the album on the day of it realease and i still play it today and i belive John Lee was inncent he didn't kill miss Emma Anne White-keys.

They performed the whole of BL at Cropredy last weekend - it was most excellent!

I read a review of this year's tour either in the Times or the Standard, and it moaned about the fact that Fairport played the whole BL album as part of the set. Moaned!! I'd have loved it. Unfortunately the Marlowe in Canterbury, where Fairport always come and is near home is being rebuilt - so no gig for me. This will have to do...

I am way over the pond and I have never heard this performed with Chris singing it. He sounds much like Swarb on his vocals!!!! Loved it!!! Thanks for the chance to hear it!!!
