  • YAY u saved elmo :D

  • It sucks that they make stuff to fall apart and wear out a month after you buy it anymore. It is cool to see it get squished tho! LOL

  • good video 5 stars

  • I never thought id enjoy watching things get annihilated as mch as i do while watching this vid. Thanks for sharing man and thanks for the positive message.

  • what is the reason for so much stuff being thrown out??? Was there some kind of water damage due to a storm??? I would hope that this is not the regular amount of trash for these people. Some of it still looked usable. Such a shame to waste so much.

  • I am sorry to say Eric it is far too late.

We have over populated the planet, With vile ignorant humans...THROW IT AWY AND GET ANOTHER ONE WITH MY VISA CARD.

99.9% of people dont give a second thought to what happens to the rubbish they put in the bin..

It ends up burried underground for the rest of time.. Not going anywhere.

Humans are vile it will be no bad thing when the Earth gets to a point where it cant clean itself. Humans will die and another species gets the chance to be top dog.

  • Loving the vids Eric, can't wait to see more of Trash Test Dummy in the future! It really is sad how much recyclable items are tossed in the trash. I see it on a daily, mainly with OCC.

  • wow all that can be recycled and more ....

  • YES WasteCnxsideloader is back...

YES YES YES PLEASE MORE VIDEOS ....

  • Wow! A lot of that stuff looked perfectly useful! Why don't these people use garage/yard sales, or donating, in kind, to charities to before resorting to "throwing away" the stuff? As Native American leader, Winona LaDuke , says, "Where is 'away', anyway? There is no 'away!"

  • awsome distruction

  • wow crazy people that throw away most things that are still in good condition

  • Welcome back!

  • Love it, good message and delightfully creepy music.

  • Hi Eric !! Powerful message here!! Hopefully it isn't to late! Miss the hopper vids, been checking here and there. When you're busy, you're busy.

  • Been tippin and flippin like a maniac lately at work, not much time to get out the camera.

I'm going to try to come up with a better way to get footage without wasting any time on my route, because time is money for me!

  • Is there any way to just leave the camera there and let it run while you work and then edit later? I'm not familiar with how those cameras mount , never messed around with them. And yea, I know time is money, I was suprised to see when you posted that you get paid by the stop!! Huh, just imagine that, letter carriers getting paid by the stop. That was thrown around at one time, sort of like piece work. Of course that means that you have to hustle ALL day !!

  • Thats usually what I do, but the camera I use (mini DV) has a 1 hour capacity, and it can be very time consuming to reduce that hour down to a few minutes of video. Sometimes there is so much stuff that I think would be interesting that its hard to decide what to include and what to cut.

I really like getting paid by the stop, it gives me an extra challenge, and motivation, and I am rewarded for my efforts in a manner that is beyond what most other companies provide...

  • And that very well may come to that as far as the Post Office is concerned, for me that may be kind of hard ( I'm 57 and I've got back, foot issues) but sometimes I wish that it was set up like say your co. Anyhow, are there different kinds of cameras that you can use to get better results???

  • The camera isnt the problem.

The better quality that is desired, the more work is required, no way around that!

I wish to continue to provide quality material, but it only becomes more difficult as time goes on...

  • Well Eric, do what you can, I always enjoy the vids and like I posted before I useed to work one of these (stationary, inside a dept. store) it was twice the size of yours. That was back in the early 70's. We had loads of fun working there!! I worked in the warehouse and any opp. I had to play with the compactor, I did. I have a few stories, maybe I'll put em up for you later. Speaking of which, be talkin to ya!!!

  • You should just crank out some dvds of the raw footage and sell em on ebay :) 1 hour loading and crushing bet a lot of cool stuff gets loaded in an hours time.

  • its crazy what people thow away those trucks must fill up in no time

  • On these saturday cleanups the truck is packed solid in less than 2 hours usually, sometimes only an hour if the help is good. We dump out and come back until the neighboorhood is done. I have been on some cleanups that have produced as much as 7 full loads from a single square mile of the city...

  • I'm glad to see these videos again.

  • yeah man, we need more people like you, youve really made me start recycling everything i can

  • i dont know why i watch this..

    its just mesmerising.

  • Damn that thing ate that dresser like a fat kid with a twizzler.

  • Yeah, and it still wants more!

  • Hehe.

  • Awesome!

  • awsome

  • Great vid my friend. Thanks for post

  • I got like mind controlled in that video:o WTF?

  • Damn! Look at all that stuff people could have recycled or donated!

Stuff that was in great condition that people just didn't "need" anymore, so they chucked without a thought. Someone else could have used it, if they'd taken the chance to just donate it.

Anyways, cool vid & the music's great, as well. :] Keep it up.

  • Great to see ya back!

Love the music on this one...

  • Glad to see that you're still around also!

  • is that aHeil PT1000 or formula 4000 rear load body? nice video man!

  • Looks like a Power trak commerical or "big bite"

  • It's actually a Mcneilus, you Damn Canadian, but I'm not sure of the model.

It's the Mcneilus Shit Eater 2000 or something like that I think haha.

  • nice "crunch "n" munch" but those people need to recycle there trash/sell the scrap metal & donate or "ebay" some of that junk first

  • One thing I've noticed lately is that there are alot more people going around and scavenging stuff that's set out for these cleanups, which is great. More and more often there are people that go around and scavenge all the metal scrap they can load into their pickup trucks.

Most of this crap is just simply useless though, how do you recycle a pissed on mattress or couch left out in the rain?

There is so much bulk waste that nobody can do anything with...

  • Most of that stuff could be donated, or recycled. What a waste.

  • 1:35 lol!

  • I lived on Guantanimo Naval Base in Cuba. T he amount of waste the Government produces is amazing. The Land Fill there had whole cars that just had minor repairs needed but were trashed so they could get new.

  • i'm big on recycling lol

  • Me 2 lol

  • Wher you the only guy?

  • It was me and 2 other trucks on this particular cleanup.

  • Yay! You got a vid up!!!!

  • nice job! five stars and fav! thankx for video taping while u work! thats pretty sick dude!

  • doesnt anybody recycle

  • DUUUDE,

    He returns. yay !!!!

    Jeremy

  • are u now a rear load driver or are u still a 0side loader driver?

  • I only drive a RL for these saturday cleanup efforts, monday-friday I'm on my regular side loader route.

  • cool stuff eric :D

  • thanks!

  • sweet........hay about the description is all cool ide rather wait a while for a decent video i mean u got other stuff to do bnot just utube, great job
