  • uh.. no. they murdered a really amazing song. . it was like listening to robots.. for certain parts.. other parts were horribly off pitch. could have been better. maybe they were nervous.

  • when the basses first have the decending line they go terribly flat. and were at times all the way through.

  • not very good at all

  • Yeah we're learning this in our chorus at my high school and it's HARD it's taking a while to learn it since everyone keeps getting confused , I do agree though that they could have slowed it down, personally I like it better slow

  • Don't listen to the critics. This isn't easy and you guys make it look effortless. I have heard professional choirs that don't sound as good as you.

  • Just a few comments here.

I think you guys could've definitely slowed it down more and savored the piece a little more. Overall, I think you should also incorporate more energy into your choir.

Specifically, Facial Expression! Some of the ladies are great at this. however, the boys do not show any whatsoever. Remember that part of the choir experience is the visual. People will enjoy it more if your face shows emotion.

    Otherwise great job!

  • my choir is learning this right now only we have women singing the alto part. i love the amen at the end. =) very well done

  • Now try Maurice Durufle's "Ubi Caritas" - there are some postings on YouTube that are absolutley awesome to listen to and I think you will fall in love with this setting....

    best wishes - well done
