Great tutorial! I am a newbie and just purchased a Ukulele Banjo it is currently tuned in the key of C. If I want to tune it up to the key of D to play along with your videos will I need to buy new strings?
Hi Peter can you advise me on what type of UKE i should purchase as a complete novice never having held an instrument. Please can you let me know the best place to purchase and what price I'd expect to pay. Many thanks hope then to follow your excellent instructional sessions.Regards,Carl
Hi Peter, learning the uke now, enjoying your simplistic way of teaching, what type of uke-banjo have you got now you have parted with your goldtone.ive just got a cheapie john gray one but would like a good one eventually, regards neil
Brilliant tutorial! I've worked out the split stroke and the triplet but not had a clue how to actually incorporate them into the song. But after going through this a few times I've pretty much got it plus I've learnt the shake from your other video. Many, many thanks!
Amazing. Thanks. I am only a few weeks in to learning. But I know that this is going to be a fundamental video as my dream is to play that solo. Thanks. Please make some more videos.
Really, Peter, this is hugely helpful. I'm still working on this one - not easy - but slowing George down helped me figure out the chords for the Snapshot Album solo in just an few minutes.
@mrkenley Thanks for the feedback, it's intended to be a demonstration of a way you can approach playing the solo in a simlar fashion to Formby therefore I slowed it down to try and make it more understandable. I can't play as fast a George could anyhow :)
Some help! Are you kidding? This is absolutely brilliant. Go directly to top of the teachers class. You are a gifted player and teacher. Thank you very much.
Thanks to your solo analysis of the Window cleaner, and lots of practice on my part, I can now play that Solo!! " Great stuff" as you say. Just needs a bit of cleaning up with the numb fingers in one place, but I have it now.
I also learned "I like bananas" from your vid, please keep it up Peter, you are a great inspiration, and teacher, too!
Fantastic vid, really useful. Please post more! I would love to hear you analysis of the Horoscope solo - one of my favourites but still out of my reach I'm afraid!
I know the chords for the song but does anyone have the chords for the solo?

Hi Peter... brilliant tuition videos... I think the chord "sound" at 3.55 is a diminished chord. Cheers

The face I have. The fingers follow oh so very slowly.
Thanks to you, they now follow with a bit more zip.

I'm doing pretty good at learning my split and fan strokes but I'm still having problems with the 'obligatory silly uke-playing face'. :(
