  • Can you believe they even sell their own prepacked soya chap masala with everything in it just add it to sautée of tamato and onions and you are done! Hassle free cooking, I even added 1 tspn of meat masala to it tasted just like mutton! Mom says thanks for the lovely recipe and wishes !! Take care:)

  • Hi everyone, if you want to buy soya chap then there is a shop called amritsarian di Hatti it's in lajpat nagar and kotla mubarakpur south delhi they have soya chap and malai soya chap available with them and their number is 29819040/29814747/2634233

    In Karol Bagh, you will get chaps at Ajmal Khan Road. You will get it at 2-3 shops. I don't know the name of the shops. But you will get it. :)

    Sorry Dear, do not have any idea about south delhi. Just check out in any grocery store i am sure you will get it or at the mother dairy(private stores).

    Hey thanks for writing in.I do not have any idea about Gurgaon but in Delhi you will get it in Karol Bagh, Rohini, Model Town and many other places kamla ngr etc. You will get them at Grocery or sweet shops basically.

    If you can tell me about your specific locality i can give you the name of the shop if i know any. Let me know if more help needed. Thnx again.

  • @yashgupta21 Hi Yash, Please find below the ingredients list: 7 Soyabean Chaap Sticks 2 Tbsp Oil 4 Big Tomatoes Paste 3 Onions Grated 3 Inch Grated Ginger 2 Tsp Garlic Chopped Finely 2 Black Cardamom 2 Green Chilies 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds 1/2 Tsp Degi Mirch Red Chili POwder Coriander Powder To taste Salt Garam Masala Amchoor-Mango Powder Do let me know , if u have more queries, Thnx for being with us.
  • Well...If you are in North india and especially Delhi...The soyabean sticks are available on most Mithai shops or grocery shops.

    But outside india and other parts of India..you may find it difficult to locate them..

    You can definately use soya chunks to make it. Soya chunks are essentially the same thing as soya sticks..it is just a difference of shapes..

    I am also trying to figure out how to make the soya sticks itself at home. Once i am able to find a recipe..i will share here..

  • Maahi gr8 job. I was looking for this recipe so desperately. Just had a query regarding the soya sticks... r they available in market or we have to make it from soyabean chunks. In case if they are available in market readymade then also let me know if we can make it from chunks. Thanks a lot .

    yes, gravy should be thick with soyabean chap else it will not taste good.
