Im Khmer girl and was already PROUD of who I am long before I found out/learned about the great Khmer Empire: watching all the documentaries of Khmer Empire made me even more proud..

Hollywood doesn't want to make a movie about Angkor! they rather make movie about little princess and the prince kissing each other and taking stories from comic books and try to reap profits out of it! Plus, Angkor will be too expensive for them to make!

If you want to know more about the Khmer people you need to study the History of India. India was the Capital (NEW DELI) of whole world about 5000 years ago so you find many similar things in India because the Kings representative kings ruled Cambodia, Greece etc. All that Carvings are from the Story of the Vedic (Vedas) Literature.
