can someone please help me, whenever I boot from my 1005ha, it skips the screen where it says ASUS EEE ... and instead it goes to the windows loading screen, any ideas?
This is what i did, i had easy peasy remix, then i updated to 9.10 without caution, now im stuck with the trackpad problem(so far only), the thing that bothers me is that now anything i do i cant install any other linux os......may it be the usb stick or is my comp just done for......it says cannot find kernel, then a diff time it said disk error....sorry for bothering you so much...........and whats even worse is tht ive done this b4 so i know how to do it......its not me this time.
Did you boot into "Recovery Mode." If it is too far corrupted, you will need to do a new full install. Use a USB Linux to recover user data before re-installing.
never mind i fixed it, 9.10 is buggy as hell with eee pc's right now, i had to install anything that had to do with udev or something and despite an error during the usb mounting os process it still installed 9.04 (easypeasy)flawlessly, it was 9.10 inhibiting it this whole time....thank you for your helpful responses though =)

1) For Easy Peasy, search "easy peasy usb" on eBay
2) Which model Eee? Standard desktop or Netbook Remix desktop versions of Ubuntu?
