i have alot of questions? the thing with jailbreaking your ipod does it do anything to the ipod or no. what exactly is the installer and do u need to jail break your ipod first. And then explain once u have installer and your ipod is jail broken how do you get free apps. is it illegal?!?!?!?!?!

When you use a program called "Ziphone," you will 100% for sure not harm your ipod/iphone. If you use a program called quickpwn for 2.0 and up (thats what i use), you will most likely have no problems, i have used it about 7 times with no problems whatsoever.

you need to jailbreak... easiest way is to use ziphone.. search here on youtube "how to use ziphone" and find one that seems easy to follow... then once you have "installer" use this video to teach you how to get it.

no... but you need internet to download it and get instrument packs... once you have those downloaded, you can play wherever you want.
