  • Yeah, the Chinese seem to think that Taiwan was on the same side during WWII. Taiwan WAS Japan from 1845 - 1945. WWII ended in 1945. I believe Taiwan was separated into 4 or 5 different prefectures. Taihoku (Taipei) was one prefecture for sure. And Chinese say Taiwanese were "colonized." A colonized territory would not be included as a PREFECTURE. Taiwanese at the time were Japanese CITIZENS. Do you consider Hawaii a US colony or a state?

  • A lot of Taiwanese still don't know that ROC bombed Taiwan during WWII. ROC actually launched the very first air strike on Taiwan in 1938. It's also the first air strike on Japanese Empire. It's called "Taihoku Air Strike"(Taihoku was Taipei's name back then).

  • 現在台灣本省籍五六年級生的祖父輩有當過兵的都是台灣軍。他們在­上海, 南京,武漢大會戰把國民黨打得落花流水。難怪國民黨遷台後對於本­省人有仇視心態, 最後演變成228. 在國民黨的教育下, 台灣人被教導去仇視日人跟侵華日軍。但大多數人都不知道他們所仇­視的人竟是他們自己的祖父。我們所知道的歷史被扭曲...真的是­很可悲.............

  • @cfs1224 你對台灣的認知不夠 台灣原住民主要分平埔與山地 而西半部平原為平埔 大多數是被漢人同化掉 而台灣山脈與東部的原住民 原本就住在那個地方 當然是有部分原住民遷移(自願或受壓迫) 但改變並不太大 況且其實菲律賓的居民(由騎是北部呂宋島)是台灣過去的 另外有一學說台灣是南島民族的發源地(南島民族的主要學說) 而更正確的來說菲律賓的人種多數是從台灣移入

  • @blsjapan78 You'd better study the history of WW2; especially about what the Japanese did to Chinese people in Nanjing. The film "The Flowers of War (2011)" starred by Christian Bale is a good start. This is a very good and emotional movie.

The Nanking Massacre film was what the Chinese Nationalist Party invented to humiliate Japanese army. When Japanese army came into Nanking, the local people had already disapeared and they moved far away (migration). The other day, I saw the 228 firm. There I saw almost the same scene as the Nanking Inciden Movie

    (In Taiwan, Nationalist Party shot the back head of kneeling Taiwanese).

  • I don't know how much you know about Japanese Colony Taiwan. Before 1945, Taiwanese were not forced to join military. It's not compulsory. Only till the last year, due to the expanding war, Taiwanese also needed to serve the military.   • Atni-Japanese education was enforced in China and early KAT Taiwan to delete all the good part of Japanese Colony. Do some study and talk to Taiwanese old people and you know the true stories. 1895 when Japan took over Taiwan, there were some resistance, but they gradually adopt good policy to improve Taiwan's society.
