woah, i've pretty much abandoned lucas and moved to ness because of his pk-fire, bair and dair but this is totally making me consider getting back into lucas. (as does the fact that i just got my ness-ass whooped by a lucas like 10 times in a row online)

@FUFUHN22 You can't judge opponents from a combo vid, it' meant to make them look bad. Many of those people are really good and my playstyle has changed alot in the 1 1/2 years since I made this.

I have standard Gamecube controller setup with tap jump off, X set to shield and R set to special.

C-stick is set to smash, but because I have R set to special, I can still wavebounce PKFs. It's called C-bouncing, youtube doesn't allow me to post links, but there's a thread about it on smashboards.

@LilSyl05 with back air, you have to hit with the tip of the foot. It takes some time to get the spacing down.

@mookiesmith18 Lots of training and experience. Been using him for 2 years, so most of the stuff comes over time. Sadly, nothing beats experience when trying to learn a new character.

@mookiesmith18 my best advice to another fellow lucas fighter is to use dogerolls at the best (they work best with him), spike and side a attacks are more faster and lethal then most of the fighters, his down b is great for both absorbing energy attacks and a good counter moving while doing it (like falling when someone is about to hit you from under or spike you too), but on top of all that the best advice is to practice and never, NEVER, underestimate your opponent despite their age

Only way to learn it is to try it out yourself and learn the distance. Training might be the best option.

The tip of the foot has a high chance to tripping.
