I remember this, in 1970 I was 16. A friend of mine let me borrow this on 8 track. I remember cruising around in my 1964 Comet Cyclone looking for victims and rocking out to this song....
I'm sorry but this falls pray to the 60's proto-Metal curse.. unbelievably massive guitar, bass and drums, ruined by hairy-biker diva vocals and organ.
AINT NO DAMN WAY YOU CAN COMPARE THIS WITH EITHER SABBATH OR DEEP PURPLE! TONY IOMI WOULD SHIT HIS PANTS,BLACKMORE WOULD GO CRYING FOR HIS MOMMY.MR.CROWLEY WOULD BOW DOWN AND BEG FOR MERCY!YOU HEAR THIS THAT AND THE OTHER ABOUT GROUPS PLAYING DEVIL MUSIC.PEOPLE THIS IS THE REAL THING!YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY THIS SHIT BACKWARDS.THIS SHIT AINT FOR KIDS.CHILD SACRIFICE.RECREATIONAL MURDER,FRIENDS BEGGERS HOOKERS THIEVES.Be careful with this shit man,it aint no toy!Bad things happen!
@mamasboy815 First thanks to SabbathMan8815 and BritronRebel for the great downloads. I agree with mamasboy815 that this album is light years ahead of any of those wantabes. I use to listen to this all the time and simply idolized these songs. Simply bad to the bone.
@mamasboy815 Who gives a fuck, aint puttin no money in my pocket how about yours? They were a good band just like the others Nobodys great unless.they put food on my table or there suckin my dick. . Now go and be a good boy and jack off to your black sabath poster.
Bloodrock, and eventually, Grand Funk Railroad, Mountain, Cactus, Humble Pie, and Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, The Allman Brothers, Lynard Skynard, Santana and Eric Johnson and Allan Holdsworth... ...eventually...but, Bloodrock was my "School Of Rock".
I was a very good student. They were WAY Excellent Teachers!!!!!!

Part of this song was the sign-off piece of a Cypress Gardens (FL) radio station WFSO in the 70's. I loved that station, and many others did too.

I cut my metal teeth on this album! Can't tell you how many times I listened to "Melvin" sitting in a buddy's 1970 Boss 302 Mustang! Great memories!
