His options basically were Margarito, Mosley, Baldomir, and Cory Spinks was thrown around. He offered the fight to Mosley, but Shane turned it down as he said he didn't have enough time to prepare. Arum offered up Margarito, but you have to remember Floyd had just left his promotion and they weren't on speaking terms. That's why ultimately he chose Baldomir.

Lets be real here,he was offered 8 million to fight tony and 8 million to fight baldomir,baldomir was the welterweight champion so of course he was gonna fight him and after the beating mosley gave tony i can only imagine what floyd would have done,tony is too slow,easy to hit for someone like floyd and without the handwraps seemingly no power..

Morals outboxed Pac so did Marquez in both fights and Margarito got outboxed by Williams and Shane even Cotto was outboxing him in the early rounds its a known fact that Margarito never had any boxing skills people were amazed by his Gloves and we know that was not legit

yeah manny did get outboxed by a morales and a marquez in their prime.. but the difference between him and margarito.. he actually beat the guys tht outboxed him!! margarito never avenged his loses.. pacman has!! in fact, pacman dropped marquez 3 times in 1 round.. and knocked out morales twice. people with no skill dosn't beat great boxers like that! you don't care what pacman does.. u just plain ol' hate him.. thts ur opinion and its obvious i can't change it! so HATE ON buddy!
