I want to play this game so badly, altho, the background and effects makes me a bit "disoriantated" excuse my spelling. In gradius 3 view I would love this game more, but thats just me saying.

never the less. I still wanna play this game and finsihs it an the hardest settings, just like the previous ones ( including life force (salamander))

it was always a trill to advance your own skils. Gradius and salamander(life force) and parodius did that.

I always build up my multiples first before getting laser and missiles, since the multiples stay on screen after you die for a short while to be recollected.

Actually, there is a gradius COLLECTION for the psp, what you can use to play gradius 1-4 and a hole new game for the series.

you can download it from the PS store (at least in the united states)

The video here, don't do this game justice, it an amazing piece of work and if they aren't going to be another Gradius game, this is was a great way to end the series. I just got the game about a week ago, can't stop playing it, hard as hell but fun. Yeah, I up to the 3rd stage.
