  • It's almost 2012 now, but no signs of such thing in London, but idea looks pretty not bad.

  • I think this would be a brilliant idea for London. It would give another option for transport around the city, and would hopefully leave other services, especially the tube system, less congested. As long as it can be afforded, I'd give this the go-ahead!

  • please send all commercial questions to m-metro@dircon.co.uk

  • ¿How much is the cost per km with and without maglev technology...what is the velocity? ¿which is the distance between access stations?

  • A great idea uses very litte space comparitively cheap to install and a real answer to congestion in central london. jt

  • This is probably the coolest form of transport that you could get on with an oyster card!

  • will this happen? i hope it does its a great idea.

  • This looks awesome, I wish we had better public transit in the U.S. Although, I couldn't help but wonder, what are the side doors on each end of the vehicle for? lol Are the passengers supposed to jump out incase the train stalled?

  • Never mind London, we REALLY need this in Bristol, you've already got the Underground.

  • You can have MonoMetro ib Bristol... Brunel would be proud of it! Its a lot cheaper than a Tram and quicker to install!

  • very good!

  • Great looking project, and IF only authorities would invest funding/backing for projects like this. When Oxford Street is redeveloped they are planning to bring back a tram network, but something like this (as they have in Sydney) would be awesome. Good project
