I really enjoyed your vid but I also have some questions for you because I am in the market for a new car. Out of all those cars it looks like the 5b is the most popular car vs the 5t... did it look like the two would like to run with their own? Also do you think that there is an advantage or a disadvantage to having a 5b or 5t. Also do you think that there are less 5t 's because of price or ...?
Ok, the truck had only been available for a few months, That is why there wasn't as many in the video. When it comes to which one is better...They both have there ups and downs, I would say its just a preference on what you like. The truck is just plain sweet looking. I have had a buggy for a few years and have considered a truck but i cant bring myself to buy it. I like the buggy because its lighter, to me that means better performance. I like how mine rides wheelies everywhere.
Size and fuel type is the biggest thing. Nitro's of course run on Nitromethane and are generally 1/10 scale or 1/8 scale. Baja's run on regular pump gas and are 1/5th scale. Baja's measure 32" long for the buggy and the truck is 35". I've heard of people getting 8-9 HP with them.
I guess that would a matter of opinion, and where you live. I would say the baja. Yes, its bigger and more expensive. Its also much faster and has alot more power, mine was clocked at 44 MPH in the grass with stock gearing. Grass and sand don't even slow these down. If you could see a nitro and baja run side by side you would probably agree. Oh,the last i looked nitro fuel was about $25-$35 a gallon. Gas is only $2.50 a gallon here. The baja can run at least 30 mins or more on a single tank.
Sorry, I acccidentally removed your other comment, I ment to hit reply. The big event is usually at the end of june. Alot of times someone will just say there going and a bunch of other people will join in.
if your going to run paddles it will handle alot better having the front sand tires also. I run the regular front tires and can't turn unless i'm off the throttle.
Every single one of those are badass

too bad the 5th scalers break if you so much as look at them wrong...they're no fun when every wrong landing or impact tears something up.

do u need paddle tires and how much of a difference do they make?
rccrazy22 2 years ago
You don't need them, They do make a huge difference though. You would never be able to lift the front tires or throw huge roosts without them.
CKRworld 2 years ago
do you only need rear paddle tires or both rear and front?
rccrazy22 2 years ago

Yes, We've seen several nitro's out there. They run ok in the sand but you cant compare them to baja. No comparison at all.
