Hey, I am American, and I never heard of Onion News or Onion Span! Shows you how much I watch the "tube". After finding it on the internet, it is nothing more than a satire on news and not "real". Not to say the major station's tell you the truth either! I feel safe with CNN, C-Span, and MSBC, but you can take FOX out and have a "hunt" with it as far as I am concerned.

There was video from the onion I saw I'll see if I can track it down, and they were telling people the results of the election were leaked and getting their opinion on whether it was ethical to leak results before an election.

some might of called that particular sketch a slightly subversive propaganda exercise, or 'Opinion Control' because they named one of the presidential candidates, it's like advertising really, but still they had to name some one in that skit, just wish it wasn't McCain... Ron Paul i would of liked :)

Yes, the original video was/is part of a modern American satirical show named 'The Onion' - it's called political satire, a televised revolution...so you don't have to! - A defector, an amusing few TV moments perhaps, but it's a side show, i like the great comedy activism show 'The Daily Show' with Jon Stewart, The Onion is darker IMO, art imitating life or life imitating art... some of it's topic are scary, like McCain being President...thats sends shudders i can tell you.
