HoHoHo we good 'ol mountain boys (Gore & Clinton) can sure dig the SCIENCE of BOOT-LEG WHISKEY! & those little critters that MAKE CORN INTO ALCOHOL, our good new buddy Steven can COOK UP IN THE LAB! Yeah, I'm a "loose cannon" who don't sign onto the "4-year plan"! THERE IS NO TIME! The Chinese & Japan have already had secret talks putting Mag/Gen-Mg/Drive Fuel-Less motorless tech into IMMEDIATE PRODUCTION! So cut the old Carter-era crap, because once you're gone, you won't come BACK!
Wrong approach! Chu is a "Fuelist"- trying to make 2 INTRINSICALLY inefficient techs- building & transport "more efficient". They have been beating their heads against the wall for 40 years! NO RESULT! Make a VERY SIMPLE RULE: every new building & transport must be ENERGY-SUFFICIENT! We now HAVE the tech! For BUILDINGS see "Dynamic Architecture", for transport click on my YTube name. As I remember, Clinton & Gore were NOT elected Pres? Barak & Michelle were! Hill-billies back at Shay's rebellion
There is no question that we are living through global climate change. It's visable in the disappearing glaciers that have existed for millions of years, and the drastic reduction of ice in the polar regions. The Republican EPA recently put Polar Bears on the Endangered Species list because of this problem, but they are looking for ways to not have to take any action on it. The cause is likely a natural warming cycle, exacerbated by CO2 emissions. Lets delay disaster by taking care of our part
i am excited to know that ms. browner will be coordinating energy policy. as a struggling entrepreneur it was ms. browner who responded in writing and encouraged me to continue. my business plan which will engage the american consumer in recycling by utilizing the personal home computer will be the momentum that will drive the economy, green the country and create jobs. all i need now is an email to submit the recycling plan to the attention of the energy team.
I think in order to address our carbon footprint on the world, it is imperative that we make greater attempts to conserve energy. For future building construction I think we should utilized modular construction of buildings and homes.
There is plenty of data proving the false notion of global warming and climate change as presented by those pushing for the environmental agenda. Have you people contacted those scientists who disagree with what we are fed by the media. Al Gore and his ilk are wrong. There is no threat. To honestly study this subject you most study equally both sides. Sadly I don't think this will happen. It will be politics as usual.
A price "floor" needs to be created for gasoline, perhaps in gradual parity with the average Euro gas price. The current spread in prices would be made up by a federal gas tax, which would fluctuate with volatile producer costs. If gas continues to decline, why would any American trade in his gas guzzler? How otherwise could the automakers incentivise people to trade up to energy efficiency?
I'm curious to know if it has occured to anyone to consider requesting that "The Big Three" use this bail out to combine their resources, knowlege and efforts to develop and manufacture eco-friendly vehicles. These guys know what is needed and now is the time. Sorry but the fact that they brought their demo's instead of the private jets this time doesn't prove to me that anything has changed but change is what we all need and not only in the U.S. Don't waste billions on more of the same.
I really appreciate updates from the Obama administration and more importantly updates throughout this period of transition which is a little unprecedented. I can not remember any administration being so open to the American people and disseminating timely and coordinated information about important policies and initiatives of the administration. Its a job well done from me and keep up the good work.
President Elect Obama has stated that one of his goals as gasoline prices drop is to prevent the rise in consumption again. When the price was high, consumption fell, lowering CO2 emissions and reducing carbon output.
Question: Would it be possible to devise a gasoline and diesel fuel rationing system, such as we had during WWII? Obviously, it wouldn't be graft-free, but it may help.
We need to start making Solar Panels in this Country, this will create jobs. To encourage the American people to use these panels, a tax break would be great. I have looked into Solar panels and cannot afford to buy them otherwise I would have already had them. Thanks!

Make photo cell panel energy subsidized by the government so it can be installed on homes across the country.
