first, buy a slide. then flip your amp with distortion on.

distortion/overdrive - 50-75% up.

Low - all the way up.

High - 75%

Medium (if ur amp has it) - put all the way up.

id suggest buying the Digitech RP80. does A LOT for only 60-80 bucks

If you moved it all over to slide, and had it more fluetly, ie no staccatto on legato-slides, and added some tremolo, it'd definitely boost the performance a lot.

good job. if i were you, however, i would try sustaining the notes more when sliding. some parts you are picking the note down as though you were palm muting distinguishing the note. i think it would sound perfect if you sustain all the notes in this solo. great job eitherway

ye, as stated, pretty accurate solo, but the transitions are harsh. sounds like you are muting or or letting your hand off the frets. try to hold every note as long as possible to make it sound more seamless.

Lol it's pretty easy.. you go to a music store and you buy a '' slide'' that goes on you're pinky. Many people don't put it on their pinky but I think it's more accurate that way. Watch my video again and you'll notice it. Thx for the comment !

Your playing was very good and your obviously good on the guitar but your effects were all wrong. The real one has so much more depth than that as that was all one tone really so got a bit monotoneus. Good work but not quite.

No... I don't use any effect on that song only distortion..and you don't need an Octavia effect .. you just need a slide on your pinky :)
