I loved the Dark Sun books, but I've never played the game. Probably because I'd want to play it on a jungle planet, and only eventually turn it into a desert. :P

Our dungeon master used to give experience points to any person who brought beer. If no one brought beer, one of the pcs would die.... Darn freak adamantium meteorites...

Izak is one of my favorite characters from the PSAs, and a former PC (player by the actor who plays him, funny enough) from my old Dark Sun game.

He hasn't gotten much love online, but I'm VERY glad to see that my Dark Sun homies are down with the cannibal halfling scene.

Izak is not bad. I WOULD like to see more of these new four, ESPECIALLY I'd like to learn more about Arthon's misadventures at that-magic-school-which-shall-­remain-unnamed. He?? A HUFFLEPUFF? :O If they would've had ANY classes about Evocation, he woulda passed with flying colors. While warmages aren't my fave class, they seem pretty fun, in a gestalt character they'd be the ultimate arcane offensive punch! Gestalted with Warlock they would be hell incarnate.
