You guys are freaking me out. @tyro244 - It is with sadness that I report that we lost Mrs. Noah (Pat Merbreier) in the early summer of 2011 at the age of 86. Captain Noah (W. Carter Merbreier) is still with us, but doesn't look very good at his age. Gene London is a fashion designer in NYC and is doing quite well - I keep in touch with him on occasion.
I went to Upper Moreland schools in Willow Grove, PA and moved to the Hershey area in 2010, but not by choice.

This was one of my first super heroes, including giant robot, ultra seven, space giants and lots more... I am from Brazil. Oh boy I miss this TV Series!
Also: It's a little known fact that Chuck Norris learned his 'Round-House-Kick' from Ultra-Man. His kick became so formidable because he had to spar against a 200' tall robot.
Used to watch this in the afternoon after getting home from school. Yeah...the effects are laughable now, but as a kid back in the late 60's early 70's They served their purpose well. My friends and I would run around the schoolyard pretending to be Ultraman, crossing our arms and shooting that energy ray at each other. Airing usually on the same days..were Speedracer and Rocket-Robin-Hood along with Presto The Magic Clown. I think Presto was a local production of WDRB-FOX41, Louisville, KY
Hello All! I used to watch this show when I was 5yrs old, and still just love it! QUESTION: There was an episode where ultraman got stuck with a bunch of spikes flung from a monster and died. He went thru a sort of trial by other Ultramen, and was given a second chance. He then came back to life and killed the monster. Does anyone have any info on that episode? Thanks Very Much!
Doctor Shock was the vampire guy who hosted Creature Double Feature. Late Saturday nights where I lived in Croydon, PA. My dad used to love to let me watch that show with him.

@evolve991 We had channel 45 with Captain Chesapeake, Bruce the Bird, and Moandy the Sea Monster. Also, in DC, there was Captain 20, the space guy. Also, late night we had Ghost Host on 45 and Creature Feature on 20. Same guys. AWESOME!
@evolve991 Yes it was Burlington company. The studio was just over the Platt bridge next to the Arco refinery. I think that's all they could afford to put on their channels was the japanese shows and thank god for that!! They also had the Space Giants on one of those Philly UHF channels.
I was so addicted to this show when I was a little kid.
I'd watch it every morning on WTOG-44.
'Ultraman', 'Battle of the Planets' and 'Creature Feature: with Dr. Paul Bearer' were the things my childhood was made of.
I wonder if I have a vivid imagination because of shows like this or I watched them because I had a vivid imagination. Either way, I still get a huge kick out seeing the old episodes.
Yes! I'm from Chicago too! I was only 4 or5 when I saw Ultraman. Thank you for reminding me about channel 44! I remember thinking it was a weird channel because it was such a large number compared to 2, 5, 7, 9, and 11. And it had cool/weird shows like Spectreman, Space Giants, Wacky Races, and Speed Racer!!
WSNS RULED back then - I grew up across the lake in southwest lower Michigan, and used to watch all of those cool shows on 44 (we had a really high tower with a big antenna - this was before cable got to us). Yes Wee Willie Webber, who can forget. Ultraman was preceded by Marineboy, Spiderman and Prince Planet or Astoboy. I uses to switch from Channel 17 to 48 to catch the Flintstones and Munsters too depending on my mood.
