The cool thing is, is that this game is based on an actual mansion. The Himuro Mansion Haunting I believe. According to urban legend, lying just beyond the city of Tokyo is one of the most haunted locations in all of Japan. The exact location of the Himuro Mansion (or Himikyru Mansion as it is sometimes known) is widely unknown but the legend puts the mansion in a rocky region just beyond the city limits of Tokyo.

Ah! I remember this game, I played it non-stop with my friends when we're having an all-night party after we graduate from Grade School, the party was post-poned for awhile just so we can switch all the lamp off and play this sunnuvabitch of a game XD

The game is scary if it's your first time playing it but after completing it once or twice obviously it wont be anymore since your already used with the gameplay, camera controls and ghost capture strategies.

Then you will now be enjoying killing ghost by aiming for the highest capture score and fully upgrading your camera.

I used to have Fatal Frame 1 & 2 on Xbox years ago back when I actually PLAYED video games. It's been a while - I regret getting rid of them. They'll be worth a fancy sticker price at one point. *hint hint, gamers*

I love horror but I've never been 100% scared by anything in my life (or any movie for that matter). Crimson Butterfly came very close for me. Easily one of the most trippy, freaky, & spooky things I've ever played. It's a gem of an experience. I won't lie - it is quite scary.

You ran into Mayu at the beginning and she reacted to it; usually people just walk out of the way without saying anything. This looks like a pretty cool, detailed game...and scary. I'm just waiting for you-know-who to pop up.

yay I finally got all 3 fatal frame games (they're called project zero where I live though). I gotta say out of all the scary games out there these creeped me out the most, I think it's because although the graphics arnt the highest it's the sounds and the way the camera angles are set up, and also because I think ghosts are a bit more believable than monsters or zombies. Thanks so much for uploading these. These games are quickly becoming some of my favorites.

@blakiecakes419 Well Fatal Frame is similar to Doom, yet Doom makes it's monsters jump at your face and scare the hell out of you. Fatal Frame just has ghosts appearing at unexpected times, and unexpected places.

Nnnno u get different costumes even without the directors cut. I think the differnce is that there are a lot more extra stuff in it.
